After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

doesn't mind movies but doesn't think they'd be able to pick a favorite or even top 5 crew checking in.

so fam, tonight I tried out my new SBD knee sleeves for the first time. getting them on took about 20 minutes and required the assistance of pantyhose, plastic bags and about half a bottle of baby powder. they are quite painful, and they give absolutely zero carryover. then it came time to take them off, and somehow I managed to reverse them when folding them over so that the narrower opening was up by my knee. this caused the circulation to start getting cut off in my leg. myself and one of my training partners spent a good half an hour pulling on them and trying to fold them over, and the only thing we accomplished was to haul me to the ground off the top of the plyo box.
finally, another half a bottle of baby powder later, I had to cling for dear life to the post of the power rack while my training partner and one of the gym staff both hauled on the sleeve with me literally hanging off the rack sideways like a flag in high wind. it finally came flying off, I fell on my ass, and then I got beaten with the knee sleeve for being an idiot.

I think the volume played a large part in getting injured. I respond pretty quickly strength wise to high volume, but I was always tight even with extra mobility work and my joints would ache all the time. Now I work above 90% more than I ever did, but since the volume is so much lower I feel great all the time and nothing ever really aches. If you are fine on high volume I think sheiko is awesome, especially since you get so much practice on the lifts.
