Really depends on what you are more interested in, but if you have equal interest in the two, then go for computer.
Biomedical is known as jack off all trades major so an EE or a ME or a ChE could always have more knowledge about a specific industry than a biomed, its also a fairly new major so the profs arent exactly great, couple that with a not so great starting salary and you're not off to a great career.

Hey guys senior ChE checking in graduating this December. I'm currently pursuing a process engineering internship where I feel that Im gaining valuable experience to my resume (six sigma experience, DOEs, etc). They offered to extend me a part time position to work there for 14-16 hrs at a crappy hourly salary while I'm at school. Problem is my school about 2 hours away (110 mi) from the company and I have to go to school 5 days a week (classes offered only once a year). Part of me is saying to suck it up and take the offer even if it means skipping/doing poor in classes just for the chance that they will offer me a full time position or to just take it easy my last semester and search and hopefully find another job upon graduation. What do you guys think?

Holy fuk. 4 Hour commutes? You are stuck in dilemma here. On one hand, you're graduating soon so your GPA can't suffer too much, but on the other hand 4 hours a day commuting and a ****ty wage sounds bad. Are there any other opportunities you can apply for? I would only do this for an EXTREME last resort.

Materials science and engineering brah checking in. It seems this engineering major is somewhat under appreciated and for some people even unheard of. I'll be starting MSE as my official major (junior year) this fall and chose it over ChE since I'm noticing ChE jobs seems to be decreasing and materials science seems to be a growing field. Any misc engineers have any opinions on MSE? Did I make a mistake choosing this over ChE? They both seem quite similar to me except ChE seems more focused on fluids and chit while MSE is more focused on solids.

I'm feeling the same way about the commute and wage haha. I mean in retrospect it shouldnt be too bad finding a full time position given my GPA (3.6 ish) and having this (only one) internship as experience and a handful of projects on my belt. I will be beginning my hunt for a full time position regardless within the next month or so but it would be nice to have a job lined up before graduation assuming that they are having me work part time to train me more at a low wage before being hired full time

So my internship lasts for another 4 months then I go back to school for one quarter and graduate. My boss told me today that he talked to one of his higher ups and he says that hes got the okay to make me an offer before I graduate and that I will get one before leaving the internship.
My dilemma is that the location. This is about 2 hours from all my friends and family so I would really prefer to get a job around home. At the same time this company is top 5 of my dream companies to work for and while they do have a location closer to my home, that location doesn't have the department I am currently in.
Around my home is actually one of the bigger tech areas so there are plenty of software jobs there, but only companies that I would rather work for are just as competitive as the one I'm currently in and hard to get into without knowing someone on the inside.
My boss said he'll talk to me more about it in a few days.
Any suggestions on what to do? I haven't started applying to other companies as I don't graduate for another 7-8 months but I have applied to internships before at these companies and never heard anything back after applying countless times despise having stellar grades and previous work experience. I would really love to get a job close to home but at the same time don't want to lose the opportunity of working at my current company in the event that I don't get an awesome job near my home.
Sorry I'm so cryptic with company names and location, I could PM the details.*Scared of Automatic Toilets Crew*

Any of you guys have a resource for reviewing Cal 2 integration techniques? I'm in my Engineering Math class here forgetting how trig sub and such works.
The class is combined ODE/Linear Algebra course. Any suggestions on how to get these down specifically?
Thanks.*Reps everyone who negs crew*
