Looking back, there have been guys who have been nice or made a great song or two, but nobody who was a legit superstar rapper with amazing rapping skills and an distinct personality/attitude to go with it. IMO Eminem was the last guy to blow up who was actually a stud at rapping. Look at the big names today. They are horrid rappers even the decent ones only look good because they are played alongside retards like 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. Kanye is lyrically special ed. Jay Z straight up fell off but even a washed up Jay Z can compete with the likes of today's big names.
YMCMB is a joke. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj need to get hit by a train and Drake is a fruit poser singer. Macklemore has a **** flow, zero delivery, terrible lyrics with no wordplay, is corny, but since his music is catchy and he doesn't rap about money and bitches in every lyric he is a god.
IDK it just pisses me off I can't pop in a CD and be amazed in some way shape or form throughout almost the whole thing. Nas' Life is Good was somewhat close to that but he lacks the technicality he once had and I felt the production could have been a little better. Always need to reach back in the time capsule to jam to music. Who is the next total package? Will there ever be one?

J Cole hands down. Kendrick doesn't do much for me, he's selective on what songs he wants to be real on but J Cole keeps it real every verse.
One thought i have, I hate how people say Jay Z sucks after putting out a not so great album but keep riding Em's dick when he's done the same thing.

However, Jay-z is still the best rapper out there.
All his old chit is just amazing, even though everything in the past few years he's made is terrible.
And a lot of his beats aren't that great but he has amazing phucking lyricism.
