I enjoy Adam's posts most of the time. I think he's starting to get a bit of an ego but that's fine really.

That being said, he's obviously attempting to push the government's buttons as best as he can. It doesn't mean they're right to fukk with him back, but at some point you have to expect retaliation. Breaking the law openly also doesn't really make it harder on them either. I get you don't agree with the laws (and to a degree I don't either) but they're still currently laws so breaking them gives the govt a lot of leeway when it comes to fukking with you.

If Kokesh wasnt a good activist, if he wasnt gathering momentum, if he wasnt making a difference, then the cops/feds/etc would just ignore him. If he was ineffective in the movement they wouldnt need to go after him, if he was not a threat then ignoring his little shotgun video would be the best course of action.

When you say gathering momentum, what do you mean? His videos which are his product average a few thousand hits. Even his controversial video loading the shotgun only garnered 21K. He is hardly the voice of a movement and I would argue that he was definitely not gathering momentum and as such resorted to more and more extreme measures to try and get some attention.

Where I'm from and from past experience in a similar field, if you're known to even possess a firearm police will look at such cases from a persons chances of using that firearm and react accordingly, you don't take risks.

I've had property stolen and called the police, filed a police report, etc. Do you want to take a guess how much came of it? A friend's car got stolen and through the security system he had installed they were able to track it to its exact location. How quick would you guess the bacon squad snapped to getting it back?
