We have some pretty recent surveys of historians or statistical estimates -- (not sure why you put the word historians in quotes?) -- from 2011, 2012, and 2013.
These estimates generally point to above-average historical ranking across the board. Of course his term isn't over and that could change, but it's the best guess we have so far.

"Historians" was in quotes because if they're pretending to rank & judge current events, along with three years of future events... That's the exact opposite of "historical".
Meanwhile: His signature law is evolving into a complete disaster that we now know was pushed through with the power of lies. Debt will nearly double under his administration. Foreign policy failures left, right, and center. His campaign promises are now an extensive list of lies and failures. Wars continued, expanded, and started anew...
Yeah, these historians are really on top of their game

Not sure why you are so concerned with my rep power?Most of my reps come from my donations to the misc charity drives.There are three drives that are stickied on the regular misc and I've donated to all 3.
Here are the highlights of my CP...............
Here is the post.............
I didn't think it was mod neg worthy but I don't argue with mods or cops.I've been mod negged by Hola 4 times since he became a mod(the only 4 mod negs I have had in 4 years i have been here/he has a grudge against me going back before he was a mod)and 30+ negs from nutsy.If I cared about my rep power I would stop posting in the R/P,but without libs this place would turn into one giant conservative circle jerk.No one wants that.

What's funny about this thread is that for some ppl there is the slightest thought that Obama may actually want to do this. That actually says a lot about Obama, that he could create this possibility in their minds.
“From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother...”

Think of it this way: he continually stated that for his SIGNATURE ACCOMPLISHMENT of his presidency, Obama Care, that you can keep your health provider and your insurance. FDR had the New Deal, LBJ had the Great Society...we remember them for these signature accomplishments.
Would you be exceptionally thorough with your signature accomplishment in life? Make certain that everything was all thought out and had 2 or 3 back up systems for everything?
He supposedly did, its a complete fukking disaster soon to get worse, and he either lied or never even read or thought about it. His signature accomplishment, what your name will always be attached to...and its a disaster.
Now, wouldn't that make anyone think that this person is capable of ANY stupidity whatsoever?“From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother...”

"If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."
"The Cambridge Police acted stupidly."
From the Washington Post: "Indeed, the New York Times later reported that Obama had stunned his aides with his “unscripted” language. The Times said that his comments were made “to the surprise of some of the advisers who had attended the weekend meetings and wondered where the ‘red line’ came from. With such an evocative phrase, the president had defined his policy in a way some advisers wish they could take back.”
Now throw in the 'Keep your insurance, keep your doctor' line that he said about 30 or 40 times.“From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother...”

It's just that so many take a disagreement with policy to a whole next level. Every Potus knows the importance of their job and their position. "W" was an absolute moron, but I don't doubt for a second that he didn't do the best he could and made the best decisions he could with the information available to him at the time.
Obama thinks that we as a nation can, and therefore should provide healthcare to all. It's not like he wants to gas all the Jews. It's a noble intent. I can understand that many think that this is a threat to our national idenity or that it cost to much and is a therefore a threat to our national security. But it's a policy discussion and reasonable minds can disagree.
Personally, I'm against Obamacare because I'm an Atheist and I think it's a futile fight against Darwins Laws... but I don't disrespect the POTUS just because I disagree with him.A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.
