It has its problems just like every other one of the counter strike games. They fixed a lot of trash exploits that were around in 1.6 and source.
Major changes IMHO:
-Footsteps have been made harder to hear on most surfaces ( if you play competitive this changes where you are able to position in a bombsite so you can still hear footsteps)
-Gun sounds are strange but more accurate (I got very used to the source sounds)
-Spraying patterns are much more similar to 1.5-1.6 than source
-More walls/objects can be shot through
-Molotov is a great new grenade
-Priming a grenade takes soooo much longer, so you cannot reaction counter flash
-Distraction grenade is completely pointless
- Disappointed in the lack of new competitive maps. They did remakes of the same old maps

Only map I would need is Office. No clue how CS guns/spray patterns were. I only played CSS, religiously. So... I probably won't exactly like this, although CSS went through multiple shot patterns/tendencies with each path over the years. Every time I'd have to relearn all of the weapons.

This whole "religiously" thing is out of hand. Even if you are the most religious church member you only attend 3 freaking services a week.
I assume you lads played the games in question far more often, hth.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #56 ▪█─────█▪

I used to primarily play a 24/7 office level. At any given time, 16 or the 20 people playing were regulars who only played that map as well. Anytime a random joined who happened to only catch the occasional office map on rotation servers would scream the majority of us were using hacks because we would come around corners with the x-hairs pointed on top of the exit signs, etc.
Also, everytime I'd go into a rotation server and it hit office I'd get accused of hacking. It always made me lol.
I got bored using weapons for too long, so I'd always rotate. mp5 was my favorite to screw around with. MP5 worked as long as you knew how to make it work for you. Jump around a corner, immediately into a crouch and keep those x-hairs aimed high. Considering so few people managed to make that weapon work for them, I would periodically get questioned about my gaming integrity.
I think I only did train on zombie levels. Can't really recall though.
I know the other level I played a lot was one of the dusts (i think dust2 over dust1.. but can't recall).-

Went to a church service once. It was too drawn out. Complete snoozefest.
Went to a mosque once. Too loud and the seating sucked.
Went to a synagogue once. It didn't feel like a place of worship but a college level class.
Not to mention none of them managed to alleviate my bullshit alarms from going off even at the tender young age I visited them.
Amen.

Decided to go work out some stress and relax a bit in the mountains.
Amazing what a bit of exercise and a lot of fresh air can do...
