B&J's Chocolate Peppermint Crunch B I liked this a lot, not sure if the taste justifies the macros though. The mint chocolate cookie balls were awesome and very crunchy. I love me some texture.

Derp, forgot to post a few pictures I took of this weekend's eats.
Terrible shot of Candy Bar Pie. In the picture you can see the fluffy nougat component, and you can almost get a grasp of the dense, pie-like texture just from looking at it.
Coconut 7 layer bar had much larger mix-ins than anticipated. In the dead center of the pint, you can see a walnut and appreciate that they are large, whole pieces. The chips in both pints I got were largely whole and un-crushed as well. The lighting in the shot is poor, but you can see that trademark B&J's graham cracker swirl strewn about about the perimeter. The butterscotch, which wasn't on display in this layer, was a subtle player that took everything to the next level. It was absolutely stunning on re-scoop, confirming the glowing review I gave it earlier. Top 3 all-time flavor for me, I reckon.

Theyre frequently 7.99 at my local grocer. However, they only have like 6 flavors. I'll be trying chocolate next time, considering The Solution has been making Jeni's Chocolate seem like the second coming of christ or something. I'm suprised it's 11 everywhere else, considering i'm in the pacific northwest.. far as hell from a jeni's

Damn, they only have the dark chocolate flavor here. Equally fantastic?
They also have Pistachios and honey and Brambleberry (both of which ive had and enjoyed), whiskey and pecans, lemon frozen yogurt, and brown butter almond brittle. I'll probably pick up either BBAB or dark choc. next time.
They had salted caramel at one point but I didnt pick it up in time, its gone now

I liked Jeni's Salted Caramel as well for some reason. It has a more powerful "salted" taste that could come off as burnt to some people I guess, but I thought it made the flavors a little more complex.

First thing's first.
Had Sunday Morning...it was unreal. Such high quality, the texture, the taste...that is what ice cream is supposed to be.
After that I had OCC and some various other B&Js and HD flavors and I was just thoroughly disappointed...until I had PB World.
I was completely wrong about PB World. There's nothing boring about it. The Milk Chocolate Base is extra creamy, chocolatey, and is done very well, the chocolate cookies really add a nice enough break in the texture, and the PB Swirls are the perfect sweet and salty compliment to this pint. I've recently rescooped a lot of the B&Js pints, and this is right near the top. OCC, IWP, etc all came down a few pegs.

Quick question for my fellow PB lovers.
I'm considering picking up a pint of Jeni's Buckeye State, but its $15 here in NYC and wanted your opinions first. Here is my ranking of flavors with PB bases that I've tried: 1) WAC 2) Candy Bar Pie 3) HD PB Pie (wasn't bad, but I had I high hopes based on the description and it didn't deliver). WAC is amazing. Great PB flavor and it was sweet enough to satisfy my monster sweet tooth. I feel PB Pie lacked in both PB flavor and sweetness (I will be scooping again tonight to confirm my initial assessment). How does Jeni's compare to WAC and the others? I've read on this thread that it is almost savory, which does not sound appealing at all to me.
On a separate note. Heads up for those who have access to Publix (I unfortunately no longer do). B&J is going on BOGO starting the next sale cycle. Enjoy your $2 pints.
