you guys suck. I'm getting tired. 6:40am. I'm not going to sleep untnil my body shuts down. I was going to sleep long ago. Then I got in the mood for Justified when buddy I was in Iraq with (from Texas) posted a pictured of Justifed and we went on a tangent. I watched an episode and made food. After that, I still had to watch a horror movie for Friday the 13th (although it was saturday morning... I hadn't slept yet... so still Friday). So I watched mediocre 28 Weeks Later. Now... I want to watch more movies.

    WTF??

.................IP H R ER BB K HR WHIP Season ERA
    A. Harang 6.1 4 4 4 2 13 1 1.69 5.91

THat is Harang's stat line for this game (whip/era is a cumulative stat from his first start and this one).

Harang is a former great pitcher who managed 124 strikes over 170.2 innings last season. Yet, somehow he managed 13 strikes in 6.1 innings.

Jesus San Diego... we know you suck, but wow! I'm not lying. The entire fantasy community knows you should stream against them. Especially when they are at Petco Park (this was at Dodger Stadium.. still a pitchers park). But still! Harang was supposed to be a "fringe start" today. Yeah, he still allowed 4 ER over 6 innings, but the 13 K would more than make up for it for most owners.

Padres have a long... long way to go. They need to stop investing in new top pitchers. They are already in a great park. Trade for decent pitchers who will be amazing there (looking at you, Jake Peavy) and start investing in better bats. They got rid of their best one in Adrian Gonzalez to the Sox.
I will give them props for nabbing Cameron Maybin from the Marlins. Prime candidate for post-hype sleeper. But beyond him... really?

Either way... the only thing palenstine did worth a sh*t was throw rocks. Actually give them a lake and they'd be amazing.

Finally watched "28 Weeks Later" for the first time ever. Far better movie than it's completely worthless, sh*tty predecessor "28 Days Later", but I still found myself completely annoyed by it. Don't get me wrong, overall, it was a much better movie. Was quite riveting throughout most of it. Jeremy Renner was the f*cking man. I wanted to do Imogen Poots, although she was a small breasted 17 y/o at the time (I liked her nose). Also... it had Idris Elba... how can you hate on Stringer Bell?

But the movie was damn near as stupid as 28 Days Later. Okay, so i get that the initial virus spread from the kiss. The Army Major chick mentioned "saliva" when she talked about the wife being a carrier. But ol' Robert Carlyle was in a locked key card/security controlled room (and facility) to magically being out in the parking garage, tearing through the necks of soldier after soldier who seemingly never think to fire their rifle at him, while he is tearing down their teammates.

Then... surprise surprise, tey lock everyone in what is seemingly a "secure" section of the facility as they quarantine. ANd he gets through what is the equivalent of the double doors to the cafeteria at a high school. Rage chain reaction and the entire room is now their retarded version of zombies that never stop running.

What is dumber is when the Army initially locked them in that room, they showed them twist a handle/latch that locked some crazy nuclear grade door to quarantine them off. Then it came to all those rage infected f*ck tards storming the building to break the quarantine, they merely had to bust through yet another set of cafeteria doors that merely had a chain w/ padlock around the handles. Not even a single deadbolt system to hold teh two doors together, or to the frame.

I'm sorry... I honestly feel the 28-Zombie movies do not deserve a rating anywhere close to what they have on imdb. (7.6 and 7.0, in order)
F*cking stupid ass movies w/ stupid ass people w/ stupid ass happenings.

I'm fine with them having the zombies run. That is not my issue at all. I am definitely not of the camp that cries out how "factually incorrect" it is to have zombies run (yes... there are fan boys who scream how impossible and fake it is to have a zombie run..... it is about as stupid as nay sayers of the PotC series who thoguth the fish men of #2 was too fake to have a suspension of disbelief, when the skeleton people of the first was fine).

My issue with the running is that they are ALWAYS running. Never walking, never searching, hunting, looking, listening. Just runing. SPrinting, for something.

I like movies more like dawn of the dead where they were fast, but when they were in search of a target. Until they had a target... sluggish, moving around like whatever, waiting to pick up the scent.

But still, my issue with the 28-Zombies movie wasn't the zombies. It was everythign else. I <3 me soem zombie movies. I heart all kinds of horror movies, for all their different reasons. Although the vast majority of them suck, horror movies is one of my favorite kinds of movie to watch.

These movies were f*cking stupid. In the first, they are in the middle of a town that is ravaged by death and these zombies. They hit up a grocery store to get supplies. What do they do in the middle? Reenact the sound of f*cking music as they prance around picking up f*cking cheerios. Are you kidding me? Grab the f*cking necessities and
    [img]http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn297/LDDrunk/gtfo.gif[/ img]

Then when they are driving out of the city, they have two choices. The "long way" over the ridge in the sunlight and wide ass butt-naked f*cking open expanse or..... the dark, dank tunnel that seems to be riddled with crashed and broke down vehicles for miles. What option do we take?
    [img]http://www.einhorn-film.at/filme_qrst/scary_movie_2.jpg[/ img]

So now they're in this tunnel, trapped and run into... a traffic jam. Wow.. did not see that coming. Everyone died in place adn their vehicles were left. Probably in the main escape/evacuation routes (i.e. the thoroughfares and tunnels!!).

Finally they meet up with the soldiers, who are clearly jaded to everything. They've had to shoot anybody and everybody. Zombies, civilians and friends alike. Now these people come and object to their ways. F*ck up the system and BAM! Everything goes awry. Who woudla guessed?

For my criticisms of 28 Weeks later, see above. Random plot holes of how Robert Carlyle got out of the facility, then the disappearing act of all the major nuclear grade security doors, etc etc.

++ in an odd turn of events, after Harang raped the padres butthole, Kenley Jansen is currently getting shellacked by the same inept offense. Here is the current play-by-play:

    - K. Jansen relieved J. Lindblom
    - C. Denorfia walked
    - A. Parrino hit for C. Maybin
    - A. Parrino struck out swinging
    - K. Blanks hit for B. Brach
    - K. Blanks struck out swinging
    - C. Denorfia to second on fielder's indifference
    - C. Headley homered to deep right center, C. Denorfia scored
    - Y. Alonso doubled to deep left center
    - J. Hermida intentionally walked
    - O. Hudson struck out swinging
    - End of Inning (2 Runs, 2 Hits, 0 Errors)

FYI: Kenley Jansen is a ridiculously good reliever. Last season he appeared in 51 games, pitching 53.2 innings, striking out 96 batters (not a typo... 96) and carried a 2.85era.

Yep. He got the first two out on a strike out and a ground out, then he unraveled. Four consecutive walks. The stolen base by Ellis was unnecessary really:

    - A. Cashner relieved B. Brach
    - D. Gordon hit for K. Jansen
    - D. Gordon struck out swinging
    - T. Gwynn Jr. grounded out to shortstop
    - M. Ellis walked
    - M. Ellis stole second
    - M. Kemp walked
    - J. Loney walked, M. Ellis to third, M. Kemp to second
    - J. Thatcher relieved A. Cashner
    - A. Ethier walked, M. Ellis scored, M. Kemp to third, J. Loney to second

Just watched The Reaping (2007): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0444682/

decent flick. Gots Stringer Bell in it, so you can't be upset.

Also involved Gary Hawkins (from Justified). I should've seen the "plot twist" but I'll chalk it up to me just not trying to think ahead or perhaps since i Haven't slept in 26 hours and I'm drunk.

It is a solid 6/10 move (it's 5.6 on imdb is pretty accurate). No points that are real frightful or suspenseful (unlike 28 weeks later), but the story is actually pretty damn good (unlike 28 weeks later).

Pictars? I need some more cans, but I think there will be a plethora of them when the middle east action shuts down.

Hey Seatrayen, did you see that the Nationals beat the Reds in the first two match ups? They are even down their start batter Michael Morse and relying on Lidge to be a closer. Craziness.

Examine this weekend from multiple angles, sample parts of it for composition, and subject it to various tests i.e. tensile strength, malleability, conductivity, thermal expansion, etc. After that you should have a pretty good idea what this weekend is capable of.

One of my favorite things about rice/pasta isn't the taste (though admittedly that is great too) but is rather the insane pump I get after eating that and then working out hard. Makes me laugh at the toolbags who waste their money on supps to get a good pump.

Last night I surprised myself - after deadlifts I had an epic pump going through most of my body. Should've taken a pic, I looked massive.
