Both are good for footy in different ways. Do them both alternately. Mix it up for best results.

No not at all, not that year, at the prejudging it was the worst I have ever seen Yates, He was alot better at the finals but I thought lucky to win.

Amanda to compete in Dehli at Sheru Classic

Amanda Doherty to return to IFBB Pro stage at Sheru Classic in Dehli, India. After 4 kids and 8 years off she's back! This former IFBB Pro Fitness athlete took some time out from competing after becoming a Mum.
She had competed successfully for several years in Australia, USA and Europe.
Her professional career included competitions like the Arnold Classic, Detroit and Italian Pro. Now after 4 kids and 8 years off she returns to the Pro ranks as a Figure athlete.

You have difficult questions Paul but I will try my best to answer.

My favorite ever is Ronnie, however I think that is because of how far he took the level.
Seeing Arnold's physique is what got me into the gym as a 14 year old.
Growing up, I thought Haney was the best. Of the newer guys, I think Kai and Phil are awesome, for different reasons. In fact I cant choose my favorite out of the two, Phil is still improving every comp and Kai, when he is on is so complete he looks unbeatable.
I have had a bunch of favorites in between, Sergio, Draper, Flex, Dorian, Kevin, Dexter, Shawn, Vince and Jay. All for different reasons.
The one I have not mentioned until last is Chris Cormier, I think he has one of the best and most complete physiques ever. Underrated, competed in the toughest era ever, great to work with and cool to the other pros.

Who do I look up to, whew, hard one. There are a few for different reasons. My Dad for his work ethic, drive and smarts. Arnold for taking on the world and beating it. Trump for his tenacity and confidence. The regular guy that puts food on his table every day for the ones he loves. There are a few other that I turn to for advice and direction when I need it but you wouldn't know them. I have been lucky enough to meet some very wise people along the way that I have watched and studied, taking a little wisdom from each of them. They have helped me to overcome, to challenge, to fight and to learn. I could write on this for hours, now you got me thinking.

What do I love about bodybuilding?
I like the discipline, the challenge, the refusal to accept the norm, the journey, the fight, internal battle and the feeling it give you to be confident, to shut out every other voice and to keep pushing. I believe that Arnold has had so much success because of bodybuilding and what it teaches us.

Has it changed?
The physiques have got bigger and better, the prize money is more, the contracts are better and more people use our exercises and diets than ever.
However, bodybuilding hasn't changed at all in a way. You still got to do the work, fight the naysayers and battle yourself daily. That will never change.

Thats was probably one of the best posts i've seen on bb.com in my short time here.

Anyway, Tony i have a question for you. Can you build a gym down here in Tasmania? haha. We need a good gym thats based more on bodybuilding and not carido. Then you can bring some bodybuilding shows down here to tassie

I'm from Adelaide and through this forum I met up with Hungry Hayden & we met up for a gym sesh at Dohertys Brunswick few weeks ago.

By far and away it was the best gym I have ever been in - the character & set-up was extraordinary and I loved all the pictures etc on the walls.
A great selection of equipment and plenty of room for all powerlifts etc.
I go to an old school backyard gym which is quite similiar and it really appealed to me.
I bought a t-shirt on way out and am now repping Dohertys over here in Adelaide.
If you are ever intersted to expanding over here let me know I'd love to get involved.

It was said that the winner ( Branch Warren ) and the runner up ( Michael Kefalianos ) both qualified for the Mr Olympia from that show. I remember us talking about it because the IFBB points system had just been put out and it stated that only the winner would qualify. Accept for the other bigger shows like the NY Pro and the Arnold. Was there a change made for your show to be included in on the list of 1st and 2nd qualifies?

I recall it being talked about in here the week of the show. Just wondering how it all came about.

Easy answer, we had already announced that if the 1st place winner had qualified, then the 2nd place would then qualify.
The IFBB implemented the points system after we had signed athletes on contact, on that basis.
Michael went on to win a show in Europe so would have qualified anyway.
