not really its pretty much the lighting. diuretics are still around. When you see 90's pics in lighting similar to what is used today, you will see the conditioning is not better than today. Striated glutes were not that common even guys like Levrone and Ray were not super shredded at most contests. Conditioning improved in the 2000s. Ronnie had pretty much the best conditioning ever, and guys like '09 Cutler or this year's Phil Heath are better conditioned than most 90's competitors. Striated glutes are more common nowadays.

I don't know man, the 2010 and 2011 Arnold Classic lighting is as good as it gets, you could see every fiber and vein on these guys.
It's close between 1999 Ronnie and 1996 Dorian German GP, but I'll go with Dorian's thinner skin and more dryness (maybe more diuretics were involved too)
Yep, Ronnie won thanks to his sheer size not because he was the most conditioned, proportioned or symmetrical guy on stage.

Hams
Glutes
Dorian has better conditioning in:
Back
Abs
Calves
