Conte and Mundy both with shoulder injuries. Mundy was probable to come back in the game so I think he's OK.

Ratliff/McClellin (playing with cast) will be back as will Slauson and Garza, I believe.

Honestly, I'm not too anxious to get Ratliff back. Where is this soft run defense? Bears D-Line with Sutton and Ferguson has made every "sportswriter" look like an idiot.

Bears rank dead last in the NFL in rushing. i know we have been playing some good run defenses but man you cant just give up on rushing attempts. 5 attempts the first half last night is NOT enough. Even if you get 0 yards, keep trying.. otherwise the defenses will just T-up on cutler all game (which the jets started doing).

Bears are a passing offensive team, West Coast offense, agree it would be nice to see Forte get more attempts at running. If Garza, and Slauson are out again next week, don't expect many touches for Forte. Losing Garza, Slauson hurts for run blocking.

Curious to look up an average of run attempts per gam Forte had last season under Trestman.

I think they'll want to run more regardless just to keep Rodgers off the field, especially with all of the injuries in the secondary.

You gotta analyze the other team's defense and attack it at the most vulnerable spot. Jets run defense is fantastic but they're pretty weak in their back end. It's a shame Bears have so many injuries - if Marshall and Jeffrey were healthy last game, I think Bears would have put up 35-40

I couldn't agree more. I'm hoping Trestman opens up the playbook and let's Cutler throw downfield a bit more once Marshall and Jeffrey are 100% again. I was disappointed how little they used Forte last night. He's incredible in the screen plays and as a receiver. I predict a big game agains the Packers for Forte.

We going for that WOAT defense. And Special teams too. Any word on when Fuller will be back? Hope Jordan Mills will be good for the regular season.

Such a potato post. Our special teams on coverage look good and defense looking legit.

Read espn chicago article on rising stock. Man our top 3 draft choices are gonna be legit. Our defense has a great base and future with Ego, Sutton, and Fuller. Just need improvement from Bostic and Mclellen (obviously spelled wrong and too lazy to look up spelling), and we will be set.

Briggs looks lost out there, not to mention slow. I really hope Bostic starts showing some major signs of improvement in the next few games. He looked decent against NY on Monday night, so let's see if things continue down the right path.
