Growth blocked because of Body Building?
I've noticed that I have stopped growing ... or is it just a growing pause ?
I might grow till 21 I realize that but I haven't grow a inch , since like 4 to 6 months ...
Do you think it might be over for me ? Is there anything that I could do to get myself taller ? Besides playing basketball , stretching out and stuff ?
I want to hit at least 6'3 - 6'5 ...
I'm 5'10 now ( 180 cm )

Growing pause, you'll more than likely have another growth spurt in the next year or two and easily get a few inches taller. I'm in the same situation brah. The only way lifting can stunt your growth is if you lift like an idiot and completely **** up your back somehow. Keep lifting.

How tall are your parents? Height is a genetic factor, so look at your parent's heights and see where they are.
Unless you're a total retard, weightlifting won't stunt your growth. Unless of course....you're a retard...

Same here, grew to 5' 9 when I was 14, I'm now 19 same height. Who knows. Lifting didn't stop your growth, it might be over, it might not, Nothing you can do to get taller. All genes. My dad is 6' 5 285 and my mom is 5' 8. So You'd think I'd be taller right? guess not.Originally Posted by Ragesafe

Its all about genetics. Theres a possibility you can grow taller but its slim. Also Basketball won't make you taller, it can actually stunt growth in some cases but its rare. Stretching will only make you more flexible which can help you prevent growth loss.

5'10" is a perfectly acceptable height, and the only way I believe weight lifting will stunt your growth is if you break a bone because of terrible form and thus seal off your growth plate.

don't trip, I stopped growing at age 15 at 5'8, when I hit age 19 I flew up to 6 foot by age 20.

All genetics bro. Some dudes grow 1-3 inches even in their early 20s. I haven't grown since I was like 14. My dads 6'1, moms 5'6. Im 5'11. most of my friends are all either the same height or way taller than me WHILE having shorter parents. Feelsbadman
I'm still hoping to be one of those dudes with uber late growths... Highly doubt it though.

doubt it has any effect lol, my mum and dad are both 5'9" and im 6'3" at 17 lol, i also have a twin brother who is 5'11" and he never lifts anything, hes a twig. im the only one in my family who is over 6ft LOL

No, lifting did not stunt your growth. If you are truly concerned about whether or not you will grow, go get an X-ray to see if your growth plates have closed up. Haha I havnt grown since I was 14, my **** if I get taller I'll be happy, if not, eh oh well.
