    Choosing Federations

I'm sure you guys get this question a lot but I'm having a hard time deciding. I turn 20 in january so I would like to try to get a MA state deadlift record in the 18-19 category before that. I'm pretty confident I can get the lift, but should I compete in the USAPL or APA, or even IPA? I will do the lift raw, and I prefer a drug tested fed too. Thanks for any feedback

Well USAPL is awesome I've heard. However check to see who has the lowest deadlifting record. Winning.
    I don't care.

Only three Feds actively operate here, two of which do mostly push pulls. Kind of limits my choices.

NE USAPL is pretty good, depending on the meet though you might be the only raw lifter in the place.

I like USAPL. As a side question, or to expand on the OP's question, which federation has the strictest judging?

Yeah and they screwed over that Koyongi dude too. Plus some of their record holders actually are at least as juicey with banned substances/PEDs, they just cycle off for the tests and act high and mighty about it.

Those are some pretty impressive lifts for his weight and age. I wish I was lifting near those numbers when I was his age, and not messing around in the weightroom.
