Why has my fat loss halted? [BMF]

On day 34 (which was 4 days ago) I ate like 2 pounds of pollo asada which is pretty high in sodium and the next day ate a quarter pound of beef jerky which also had a decent amount of sodium in it. But what gives? I am very meticulous about tracking my calories and I have not messed up on any of that. I lift weights 4-5 times a week and cardio about 3 times. I just don't understand... do you think it's just me holding on to a lot of water weight?

Body comp is a little bit better and I have definitly cut fat in my opinion because I haven't lost any strength at the gym....

Is it possible that I have gained muscle at the same time?

also, my macros are around 100 fat, 200 protein, and based on how active I was that day, around 350-450 carbs.

Ease up and relax turbo. It hasn't halted. A few days fluctuation means nothing.

Heck your cortisol levels are probably through the roof I'd say since you made this thread and replied twice to yourself

    ^ that.
+ I think you just answered your own question:

"I ate like 2 pounds of pollo asada which is pretty high in sodium and the next day ate a quarter pound of beef jerky which also had a decent amount of sodium in it."

"Body comp is a little bit better and I have definitly cut fat"

Oh, and day 34 is the lowest.

You haven't even stalled for a full week yet so it's not time to worry yet. Give it 1-2 more weeks.

+/- 2lb fluctuations is perfectly normal day to day

The +/- 2lbs is for "normal" people. lol

I guess it doesn't apply to bodybuilders or athlete's who have large water and carb intakes and who bulk/refeed/binge.

You have a deficit that is too aggressive IMO. It will eventually cause problems. 500 = 10% of 5000. 1000 = 20% of 5000. You don't have a total of 5000. It may work and it may work for awhile.

So what should my deficit be? Around 400-500 to be safe?

10-20% of total calorie intake. How much you can get away with depends on how lean you already are.

No, just that your not normal (lol), meaning average. Regular people don't bodybuild so they don't have large fluctuations. If you want to be average and have smaller fluctuations then stop bodybuilding and be like everyone else.

I'd give it a week then bump the calories up a bit. You were only losing 1-2 lbs a week which is fine. Your activity level has been decreasing the last two weeks though. Any reason for this? Ideally 400-700 for a calorie deficit. That is assuming the device is giving you good readings. I'm suggesting you also see how your body responds and act accordingly with the additional info the device is giving you.
