Additional Info:Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (マーヴル バーサス カプコン スリー フェイト オブ トゥー ワールズ, Māvuru Bāsasu Kapukon Surī: Feito Obu Tū Wāruzu?) is a crossover fighting game in development by Capcom. It will feature Capcom's own characters and characters from American comic book company Marvel Comics. It is the fifth installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise, the eighth installment in the Vs. series, the first to be initially exclusive to consoles, and the second in the Vs. series to use three-dimensional graphics on a two-dimensional battle area.
The game is produced and directed by Ryota Niitsuma, who had previously worked on Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, and features the same fast-paced fighting mechanics as earlier games in the series, along with new methods of play designed to make the game more accessible to new players. Capcom has promised three-on-three tag team fighting gameplay and a robust plot.

i've never played any fighter games..
how does the single player work?
is there any story or do you just fight different characters?I, for one, will tenderly love each and everyone of you.

I'm ready to get my ass kicked online. Other people online always there to show you how bad you really suck.
I used to think I was good at marvel vs capcom 2 back when it was at the arcades. I played it online and I got wrecked.

Can't wait for it. I'm a big fan of all the SFs and MvC2. Anyone getting it for X360?

Why would you have Hulk AND She-Hulk? Seems like a waste of a marvel character.

Grabbing this for the 360 and already a fighting game enthusiast.
Watched that first vid in OP's post and Dante looks pretty damn op (overpowered). I'm a little saddened though that it looks like 2 seperate combos with a Hyper Finisher on one character and they're dead. Lol at Justin Wong and airdash cancelling Chun Li.
Wish they had gone with MegaMan rather than Zero and 2D>3D.
Still excited to get this to see what possible storyline they can make up for this.XBox 360 GT: BluePenance

So what's better? A regular console controller?
Or those arcade type controllers?Mech E. Miscer

people will say arcade stick, but I can't pull off all the moves faster than I can on a controller.
I f*ck up on street fighter when I try to do cammy's cannon spike or ryu/kens dragon punch when I use the arcade stick. Now I just use that sfiv arcade stick on my pc to play MAME games.

Arcade sticks are better as most people would say.
I use the 360 controller and I do fine with it. Although, I know I wouldn't mess up specific combos in BlazBlue if I did have the stick just because the stick is bigger and thus specific actions are easier to pull off aka more accurate reading imo. I seem to have a problem with pulling off dp's (dragon punch aka shoryuken) in an instant because the 360 controller sometimes picks it up as a hadoken.
More or less though if you're not going to be entering tournaments or even be fully committed to fighting games then the controller (PS3/360) is fine. It's just your connection to your opponent on Live/Network that will make the bigger difference since laggy connections will mess up your combos and inputs way more than the controller will.XBox 360 GT: BluePenance

I think any fighting game that requires use of pressing more than one button at the same time is better off with an arcade stick.

MvC3 Stick by MadCatz if anyone is interested.
http://store.gameshark.com/listCateg...idCategory=376
I highly recommend Stick (I have a SF4 Madcatz TE stick and I dont see myself ever going back to controller).
Incase people are wondering, I believe the MvC3 Layout is
A.B.C
E.A1.A2
A=Light
B=Medium
C=Heavy
E=Exchange/Launch
A1=Assist1
A2=Assist2

Been hating on this but I'm sure I'm gonna cave in and get it....Cant help it, pretty much every fighting game this gen has let me down big time. Especially Tekken 6.
At the very least i hope this game is somewhat balanced and not the same 5 mother****ers picked in every game.

02-05-2011, 11:55 AM #29Capcom planning to sell 2million copies this year of MvC3
According to a question and answer report from a Capcom business conference call outlining the third-quarter of the fiscal year, plans to sell at least two million copies of Marvel vs Capcom 3 remain unchanged. Do you guys think that MvC3 has what it takes to achieve at least a temporary enough mainstream success from which it can sell these kinds of numbers?
personally I think they'll do better than 2mil.
