So no, it isn't anything personal or that I am necessarily bitter, it is just comical to see female posters, like yourself, get all riled up because I can see their hand.

And ironically enough, I am one of those females who has agreed with your POV in the past, and even repped you for it (when you called out rhl7 for being an attention whore; by now I've made it clear those are my thoughts on her as well). But that was one of the few times where I did share your sentiments. I know these furious guys aren't most of the people here, but they set the tone for the place. I guess there is something to some of those stereotypes about body builders after all. I had admired the discipline, but it seems a percentage of those into it are fueled by paranoia, insecurity and hate. What ever happened to you all when you were little, I'm really sorry (srs).

Some people here are really truly funny, and some of the animated gifs are great. but in general, I think I'd be very very cautious about getting to know a serious body builder irl.

I love how every guy that has had bad experiences with women (i.e. has been cheated on, has been gold dug - about 90% of women this accounts for) is the problem, is the abuser, is the one who is psychologically f*cked up.

I do think you might be right in part here - that maybe youth culture is getting cheaper and more superficial than ever. Part of that is women devaluing themselves and feeling a desperate need for attention. But that behaviour is, I think, a symptom of something bigger: everyone in for the quick fix, whether that is fame, sex, getting high, getting drunk, gambling, cash - everyone is looking for the quick feel good. Men and women might do it in slightly different ways. As if some basic sense of stability is missing.
