    when would be the best time to take muscle milk on non workout days?

    i work out in the morning 3 days a week. so would it be best to take it the night before or just take it every morning?

    Just spread it out - you don't need to have any near when you have a large amount of protein from other foods, just fill in the gaps.

    Maybe I'm missing something here, but why do you even feel like you have to take MM at all? Is your goal bulking? If so, the timing really doesn't matter.

    If your goal is not bulking, then you shouldn't bother taking MM on your off days (and maybe not on your workout days, but that really depends on what else you are eating during the day). From what I remember, in order to get 32 grams of protein from MM, you need to take 2 scoops. Even assuming you take this in water, that is giving you 350 calories and a whopping 18 grams of fat.

    Just use regular whey on your off days and you will see the fat is next to nothing and the calories will be drastically cut as well.

    If you really like the taste of muscle milk, then maybe look into MM light if you are not bulking as it has less calories and fat.

    Whats wrong with the fat?

    To the OP: You can really take it any time you want, alot of people tend to take shakes around their workout, but it doesnt matter. Just use as needed when your low on protein and fats.
