Estimate my BF% - For 5k Reps
Alright brahs the title speaks for itself. Give me some quality feedback on my bodyfat % and I will reward ye with some reptitude.
I'm 6'2" around 200-205lbs in these shots. I have been doing the Paulumbo diet for approximately one month. I haven't been able to train chest for a couple months now... I might do a set with 135 but it feels squirly so I always have to stop. I'm hoping it will be healed up by the time I am ready to put some mass back on.
Pictures were taken first thing this morning, with a flash, going uphill, in a strong headwind ... ok enough bullsht here are the pics...
believe it or not these noodle arms can do 15 pullups...

I would guess 12%-13% as you hips are slim weird thing is your abs I would have thought they would be slightly showing more stange one. You could find you dont have the mass under there to show through but the rest of yourbody looks okay mass wise to show decent definition.
Other than that you might have more fat from what the photo shows and you need to lose another 5-6lbs to show them through well.

yeah man I think it's partially the flash, partially me still being fat... at night I can see a pretty solid 4 pack. I'm also usually more vascular then in the pics. The bottom part of my abs still has a solid amount of fat. That is where I hold a lot of fat, there and on my hips. No doubt I need to get leaner.

Well man I have been on the anabolic diet for a few months with the intention of cutting but not really doing it right. I followed the rules (it's 40g's of carbs for 5-6 days and then a 1-2 day carb up) but I was eating approximately 2700-3000 calories a day (which is my maintenance or slightly over). I did some cardio (jogging for 20 minutes or sprints) 2-3 times a week. I started the AD at 218 lbs and probably lost 10 lbs or so. Honestly though when I took progress pictures I really wasn't happy with the results. I see real bodybuilders get shredded in 16 weeks and in 3 months I still looked fat as hell.
I switched over to Dave Paulumbo's diet (which is very similar in theory to the AD only he has a 1 meal carb up rather then a 1-2 day carb up) and I cut my calories down. Also I started doing low intensity cardio 5 times a week (1 hour). I ride my mountain bike for the cardio and I really enjoy riding so I actually look forward to the cardio. Oh and I'm going low cal too. Haven't totalled my calories but it's probably like 2500, maybe lower. I don't know I'm following the mirror and don't appear to be starving myself.
I've been doing the Paulumbo diet and cardio for 4-5 weeks now. I have probably lost 5-8 lbs. I don't weigh myself too much. I may be losing too fast with this new diet but fck it dude I want to be lean. I appear to be holding onto most of my mass (I do have before pictures in another thread here). My pants are falling off, women are telling me I look good, and I got veins where I didn't have them before so I am pleased with the direction things are taking.
As for the reps bros I am already out of reps for the day but I will focus my attention on this thread and get ya on recharge.Last edited by bigdan; 08-05-2009 at 09:00 AM.
