I'm surprised how often I see people describing "York-type weights" when they really mean Olympic plates. Probably a by-product (in part) of there being so many Olympic plates that say "Standard Barbell" on them.Originally Posted by 59phinz

Along with the "every old olympic plate is York" strategy, I've recently been seeing an "every olympic plate w/o a brand is an unbranded Ivanko" trend. This one isn't about weightlifting equipment, but it shows pretty much everything you can do wrong in a CL ad--vague description, no pics (or really bad pics), and a bad attitude in general.
If I had to guess, I would say that this guy is a volunteer fireman, and is looking to sell the lights that he put on his vehicle.
