Mods Cant neg

Mods have enough power. Infractions and banning. But to destroy ones site reputation obtained over years of posting in 3 seconds is outrageous.

Members don't care about bans but hate negs more than anything. That's why they are used.

I'd rather see the rep system tossed because reps do not = knowledge on this forum. It's more about how many high rep e-friends you have.

I'd say if you've been a quality contributing member for years, you should have accumulated enough positive reps to offset one mod neg.

naa look at my posts, i dont spam the place up.

I was never a misc'r at first. I was always a suppliment person helping people out but got tired of answering the same questions over and over again.

I would have allot more reps then i originally had. But i have in issue with getting high rep people mad. I called someone a "white knight" and god neg trained by several very high rep powered people. But im gona keep the misc drama out.

There are MANY long time quality posters and have not broke 500 reps. I diddnt think that was enough to break a mod neg??

I dont care about reps. But if you dont have reps, you no longer have a voice on bb.com. Everything is held against you. Reputation is everything. So i guess i do care about those little green dots.

It really depends on whether that contributing member uses the rep system or not. I've seen some great posters with very low reps because they don't use the system (they don't care about the green boxes).

Not saying this is the case for the thread starter as I have never seen one of his posts before.

This is evident in the serious sections.
Go into the AAS section. That place is its own little world.
And alot of them have very low reps, but MUCH knowledge.

Im not here to argue, im just here to bring up a valid point. This thread was not intended to relate to my previous infractions and contradictions; although others have shoved that in my face.

Ive always hated this system since it was started.

If you think about it, it has caused nothing but trouble, aggravation, and competition usually not for the good.

Sure its an awesome idea, but it is misused at many levels.

Infractions are there for a reason as are reps. Please dont get the two mixed up. Im just hoping someone will realize/agree with me. But the sad truth is, most dont until they are in the red.

honestly, i respect the guys with the big count more than the low count guys. Aside from 2 neg's that i got (for agreeing with 3/4th's of the people on that post), the majority of negs that are dished out are from people who don't agree with you, or think they are right when they are wrong. The majority of the high rep guys don't neg unless you say something that is just completely ignorant or you are being disrespectful.

Its not that i dont agree with the negging concept. Its the fact that mods have an incredible amount of rep power. And its very hard to overcome a mod neg so many people just make a new acct.
