dude....
about the money issue im not gonna be pretend to be some ceo alex baller status. but i can assure you when i buy a component i only buy it based on features or something that gives you the best price/performance.
see the bit in the bold proves my point i have tested apple products and they dont suit my needs. just like how an imac wont run most games thats why i didnt buy it.

Worse specs (ram, harddrive, graphics card) and a higher price tag. There's just no way you can get equal and/or better specs on a mac than a pc without paying a much larger amount of money. The funny thing is, if you spent such money on a pc, you could be the proud owner of one of the most powerful machines known to man. However, the particular software they provide seems to be better for media "projects" (so I've heard).
Why should I? I can simply check the specs and see a powerful $1,000 pc built via components from newegg would cost $2,000+ for the EXACT SAME SPECS! How is this hard to understand? I also like knowing all major software is compatible with my system. If you want to blow a bunch of cash on a computer, why not just get an alienware?Last edited by ign_fan_4life; 09-20-2008 at 08:37 PM.
I used to like Mitch Hedberg. I still do, but I used to too.

Yo ive actually got a question
Ive got an Imac (the latest one) and im looking to connect a bigger speaker system to it. The imac sound output is great but i want surround sound..
I know i gotta get an external card like griffin firewave? Will that work well with my mac or should go for something different?

I was looking at something like this
http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/343709...t/Product.html
But theres more than 1 cable there.. hence why id need the extrenal card thing..
You think i can just get regular set of speakers (not pc specific) and hook them up?
