Haha! For real! You know your strong when you beat your husband in arm wrestling! He's not the biggest guy but bigger then me 5"10 165-170 pounds medium built. He doesn't workout with weights though...but still...haha I beat him! He was a good sport about it he said "Alright, if we ever get jumped you deck em!" hehehe!!!
Oh and by the way I didn't believe him at first that I did it! I thought he let me win ya know? So we did the opposite arm and I beat him again. His poor arm was shaking both times. A year ago he whooped my butt at arm wrestling!

initially i thought sucks for him, but then if you really think about it... 5'10 and approximately 170 lbs? and getting beat by someone who's 5'3 and 130. He should have leverage based on weight + arm length. Most arm wrestling strength comes from technique + size as opposed to specific delt/bicep/forearm strength. Basically i'm not saying you shouldn't beat him, i'm just saying his strength is at a very unhealthy level.

Oh you know you'd so beat me!
Yeah, my husband doesn't take care of him self the best honestly. He eats 2 times a day and stuff's himself of 1,500 calories at each time. One HUGE meal in the AM and one HUGE meal in the PM before bed. He works outside all day and claims he can't eat in the hot sun (we live in sunny Cali) so yeah....I know if he eat right and fueled his body properly he would have more strength.
I invited hi to the gym with me a few times and he can seriously only do 15lb dumbbell curls. That's just how it is...if you never work out!

Uhm...are you SURE? If that's true you better get him to the gym or get him eating better or SOMETHING. My daughter has always used 15 lbs for at least 8 reps. Even untrained starting at the age of 10 or 11 (now if only she were interested in coming to the gym regularly and not every so often we could get past that! LOL). In fact, that's what I started with when I was about 11. That's just...a sign some kinda intervention is needed.

Honestly, NOT EVERYBODY LIKES THE FRIGGIN GYM!, personally I can't stand about 90% of so called "fitness centers" out there. The atmosphere of gyms these days are no longer attractive to men.......well, maybe me who wear pink sweaters and idolize Matt Damon might find it great, but your average beer drinking, sports watching, fishing or golfing on the weekends type of guy CAN'T STAND the atmosphere. I've started working out almost completely at home because of this, and have noticed when I mention the gym to non gym goers they would much rather do something at home. Not that they are against being active, its that they are against that atmosphere. On another note, some people have no interest in fitness whatsoever, yes, its true, you can show it to them, let them try it, they'll still hate it, even if they saw results. The human mind is a NATURALLY LAZY thing.

you are correct on saying most strength comes from techniqe. But incorrect in saying that it isnt muscle/tendon specific...hand and wrist are very specific to strength which attributes to Arm Wrestling....a couple hours at a real table practicing with a real armwrestler can provide them the experience and tips to beat the opponent at any given time....
