Is cardio twice a day bad? Do not want to loose muscle mass!!

Does anyone know if there is a problem with doing cardio twice a day. Being first thing in the morning low intensisty and once later in the afternoon being medium intensity. the total would be about 35-40 minutes. just curious if there is a problem with splitting it up like that.

I would actually say not only is it not bad, but it's better than doing it in one 45 min session.

I find being active and doing a lot of things works much better than doing a big chunk of cardio for fat loss.

I do a variation of HIIT for 15 mins with a 5 min cooldown and get a great work out in only 20 mins. But I also spend ~1.5 hours a day walking to school and work and such and do yoga and lift, so I don't need much extra cardio to burn fat.

I am currently on that routine. HIIT in the morning and low jog/fat march at night totally 1 hr and 30 minutes.

As long as you are eating right and lifting for strength, muscle loss will be minimal is any at all.

Thank you for this post. I am trying to do the same thing 1 morning 30 minute low intensity session and 1 45 minute medium intensity at night. I was hoping to build my staminia faster this way and the low intensity in the morning seems to get me ready for the day loose and relaxed.
