Just saw it at the theatre. Absolutely magnificent. The sequence with Iron Man sending the nuclear bomb to that planet was one of the most breathtaking movie scenes I've ever seen

Tony Stark is alpha beyond description. That scene with him looking like he was about to sacrifice his life was just unreal

Movie was good for a superhero movie but as far as excellent movies? No. Wasn't on par with the likes of Shawshank Redemption, There Will Be Blood, Departed, etc.

Nobody walks into a ****ing superhero movie expecting it to be the next Godfather. Considering the source material, this movie was as close to a 10 as it was probably going to get. You can't try to compare this with dramatic masterpieces as this movie has some pretty clear boundaries.
