I was impressed with joe stevenson, he went in there did his thing and showed respect. He looks 10 times better at 155 than 170, im glad he stopped dying his hair.

Round 1. The fight is on! GSP trows a kick. Matt throws a jab. Feeling each other out. Damn USA chants. GSP just connected with a jab. Throwing kicks. GSP pressing the action. Feeling each other out. Matt conencts a kick to the body. GSP throws a combo, and connects. Throws a kick and connects. GSP showing good striking. GSP chants now. GSP does a roundhouse kick to Hughes' stomach and Hughes goes back against the fence again. Hughes tries to clinch, GSP conencts one. GSP is initiating the action so far. GSP connects a straight jab. GSP just kicked Hughes in the balls by accident. The fight resumes. OMG yet ANOTHER kick by GSP to Hughes' balls. The fight is stopped again. Ref is talking to GSP about keeping it clean. That's twice now. Hughes is resting. Matt is taking the time to recover. Not an intentional foul though. The fight resumes. GSP throws some leather. Both fighters exchanging. GSP connects a good shot. Matt kicks. GSP catches it and takes down Matt Hughes. GSP from the top in Hughes' guard. Passes guard in half guard now. Matt is back up. A knee from GSP to Matt's face. Good job by GSP. Both fighters are back on their feet. Exchanging. Some jabs by both fighters. Matt Hughes attempts the clinch and a takedown and incredible takedown defense by GSP. A very nice takedown defense. GSP combos and MATT IS DROPPED! Knocked down and the round is over!!!!!!!!
