Everything is properly tightened. As for the lubricant thing, all machines were greased and their instructions were to clean them using simple green and add some silicon lubricant or WD40, which I think it is a bad idea since it is a degreaser if I am not mistaken. It is really one of the worst I've used. I will contact them about it being wobbly and bumpy and see what they have to say.
The rods look cheap (btw, made in china) and you can see some scratches and weird marking. I hope it is clear in the pic.
For being bumpy, I think it may have something to do with the cables.

Sorry about your functional trainer. When I had issues with my new pulldown/low row they were very responsive in helping me. Although the guide rod is still a bit off center if I do pushdowns.
Now what will really help is for you to post some pics of your new equipment. This thread has been sorely in need of some new Legendary gear.

If one had to move a legend rack from the street up a driveway,8 foot rise, then down a 10 foot drop of the same driveway, what is the best way to do this. I'm thinking two guys, put the side piece on my magic furniture dolly and go slowly. A pickup truck could be available to load pieces in and drive them up and down the driveway.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I am told, and this is just hear say, that each side of the rack is a welded piece. Now, one of those guys is only 160 pounds and not that strong because he does not own a rack. Once that guy has a rack he will become much stronger. But said guy is fairly smart, can plan, and use tools such as a furniture dolly or hand truck. It's just that if it is more than a two man job, a third guy will need to be lined up.
BTW they must be working on Spock/star fleet time.

Wow...sounds like you have some distance to travel too. Can't hurt to get an extra set of hands to help you with those sides. It would be better to have too much help than too little in this case. Legend recently updated their website. If you are getting the 3133, the rack weighs 490lb. If you estimate each of the pull up bars to be around 20lb each, your sides will be about 225lb each.

It looks like Legend no longer makes WestSide equipment. They've been the exclusive manufacturer since 2006, and I noticed last week all the Westside products disappeared from the web site (I was looking for specs on their belt squat). All the reverse hypers are gone as well. I checked the www.ironcompany.com this morning, and Legend's WestSide products no longer appear for sale.
On the the WestSide site, Legend isn't mentioned on their equipment pages, but they're still using Legend's Frame Color and Upholstery images. I assume WestSide hasn't gotten around to updating their site, but I wonder who is making their equipment now.()---() York Barbell Club #49 ()---() ──<//>─<\\>── BWTG Cluster #11 ──<//>─<\\>──

Take a look at the rod and see if you can see a series of 'rings' or something like a 'smuge then nothing, then a smuge, repeat'. It will look like a repeating pattern, and it happens when there is a slight hesitation, then slippage as you pull the cable, this gives the feeling of bumpiness. It's typically due to friction (but misalignment can contribute to it), and the suggestion is to try a different lubricant. I've tried various ones (silicone, Teflon, lithium, also have an industrial one that can't be used outside a controlled environment) but what works on all my equipment has been high temp wheel bearing grease.

Interesting. A new powerlifting type gym just opened semi-local to me, and they have brand new Legend WS Belt Squat, Inverse Curl, and Reverse Hyper. Must be a recent move by Legend/WS because this gym hasn't even been open a month. I'm not sure when the equipment itself was actually purchased either though.

Posted this in the look what I bought today thread by accident:
I got the bench and smaller parts inside. The Uprights are still in the backyard. No rain in the forecast tonight. Will regroup and try to get the rest in and assembled tomorrow late afternoon. I have to work all weekend so I wont be able to do anything.

Another Legendary 3171
Thank you all for the inspiration. I decided to go with the 3171. I'll post some more comments later, just wanted to get the pics up. The pink yoga mat (my wife's) and the black mat are to elevate the bench a little, although I am still a little low and the next rung down for the spotter arms is to low. I'l get a thicker mat so I can hit the sweet spot.
New dip belt arrived today.
