    Drinking diet soda bad for you when bulking?

    im bulking and for what i drink during the day its usualy only these thre...Water(obviously)....skim milk.....and diet soda.... most of the time its water wiht every meal and milk one or 2 meals and diet soda one or 2 cans a day is there anything bad in diet soda thats not good for muslce growth or anything that could slow it down???i know theres a lot of chemicals in it thats why im wondering

    welll your better off having water insted of soda, but the way i see it, its alright to have some softdrink every now and then, once a day is alright, and no it wont stuff up your muscle building unless you drinkin 6 cans of coke per day which your not. so its fine what your doing! =D

    well, while water>diet pop, there is nothing bad about one or two cans of diet soda a day.

    It's not really bad for you, just make sure you are still getting your 1 gallon of water a day.

    You should check out the flavored water (not Propel, the cheap ones at wal-mart), some of it is pretty good and you still get the water so it's win-win.

    you guys are pathedic, drinking diet soda isnt going to hurt you. It is going to keep you sane. If you cut out everything in your life, what is the point of living. The only thing diet soda does is make you bloated and most people dont give a sh*t about it when they are bulking. The only time i wouldnt condone drinking diet soda is when you are cutting because it will cover the six pack. But damn man, feel free to drink diet soda when ever the urge hits you. Live life, don't waste it.

    Water would be better.

    Diet soda is ok, but most of them contain Aspartame which really isn't a good sweetener.

    Stick to 1-2 gallons of water a day.

    Yup diet soda is fine. I drink one a day. I love to drink soda, and I have to help curb this need so I've been drinkin 1 can (I wish I allowed myself more...) of diet soda a day.

    Still, water is better, but you gotta curb your sweet tooth somehow, and diet soda helps mine.

    There really not bad, but the sweetener and sugars are pretty bad for you. Sometimes good for workouts.

    Just limit the amount you intake.

    i was actually kidding, i drink diet soda occasionally, not terrible. How ever before when i wasnt eating enough, i had WAAY too much diet soda's w/ aspartame, and i got headaches and couldnt think straight all the time, course that could of been from the lack of food . Id drink it when or out or your thirsty, but try and shy away from keeping lots at home, can get addictive.
    ps: splenda is fine, keep some around the house its great
