What's the deal? Why does everyone in that forum hate on bb.com? I've been reading through some threads and come across "Your Biggest Training Mistakes" and noticed a lot of people mentioned that joining bb.com was one of their biggest mistakes. How can their training and diet theories differ so much from bb.com's?

BB.com members=poeple they make fun of because half the people on this site are a joke.
IA members=feel better about themselves by hating on bb.com members and they can hide what they truly look like because they can have whatever as their avi. Here many have their avi's, regardless of what they look like.
(But I respect a lot of the good info they have on the site, but I still learned more from here and elitefts than anywhere else.)We the type of crew, to get fresh just to sit in the living room.-Bill O'Reilly

There's a lot of information regulation on that board, which this one lacks to an extreme. I don't necessarily believe that to be a bad thing though.
Their forum has successfully been established as a dictatorship as far as information goes. Ours is similar to an informational anarchy. There's good and bad things that come with both. With the freedom our forum offers there's a high risk of misinformation but their forum sounds a lot like an "intellect cult" of some kind - I don't like that method at all. All it takes is some common sense, research, and resulting intelligence to sift through the information. I don't need some guys help to tell me what's right and wrong.Last edited by LukeN.Good; 08-20-2009 at 12:48 AM.

IA is way out of Phill Heath leauge in size. Yet Phill bulks and cuts.
IA is way out of Dr. Fred Hatfield (aka Dr. Squat) leauge in strength. I am currently studying with ISSA (international Sports Science Association) to become a personal trainer and it explains about bulking and cutting.
Guess who the author is?
Ill give you a hint, he squatted 1014lbs!
Maby this IA dude should tell Phill Heath and also Dr. Squat that bulking and cutting is stupid, pointless and a waste of time and just an excuese for someone to get fat.
IA dosent know it, but if he is gaining weight/muscle then he is infact bulking him self lol. I dont know why but he automatically links bulking with getting fat. When bulking your aim is to gain as much muscle mass as possible with MINAMIL fat gains.
I bulk and cut, yet i still have year round abs.Last edited by JOSEF RAKICH; 08-19-2009 at 11:15 PM.

I agree mostly with you.
Many guys over their know ALOT of stuff including IA.
Just think about it 90% of the teens on here arent very strong nor have a good physique (like me lol) so who would you rather take advice from?....a noob on bb.com or someone who is 225+ 10% bf and has already accomplished 300/400/500+.
not bashing anyone on here becasue theres alot of people with knowledge on here but the majority......ehh☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

I like IA personally. Yeah the dont' let just anyone post advice but that's part of what makes it good. The people giving advice can generally be trusted as they are all big strong and generally pretty smart when it comes to nutrition and training both in theory and what actually works in real life for them.

Pretty much
Also every other forum hates on bb.com (even though 90% of the other forums members post/used to post on here).
Like T-Nation, when they get a moment to break away from circle-jerking with Proffessor-X they do nothing but bitch about how much better they are than anyone on here.
IA/T-Nation/bb.com all has good info - just some sites you have to sift through more **** to find it.Official Rugby training thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=107034291

Of course a forum where everyone is allowed to speak freely there are going to be wrong advices, but it makes it more interesting and less uptight like IA seems to be.
Ive found teen bodybuilding being the only forum where some misinformation is given by newbs. But the articles and resources are great and same with the advice given by experienced lifters. It's not like we can't think for ourselves here anyway. Whereas the stuff they say is basically forced on you.

They don't "hate" bodybuilding.com, however its probably one of the first sites you found when you first google'd about the matter. Bodybuilding.com has a large, broad community with a lot of different focuses and people, where as Iron Addicts is more of a tight knit community. There's no reason to be even comparing the best lifts from either forum, it does not prove who has the better forum.
The fact that teens can't post on IA may seem like its hampering the community, but its also a great help in keeping the information on IA as reliable and accurate as possible, whereas on BB.com, much more useless, incorrect crap can be spread around. In fact, almost all of the necessary advice for a beginner can be found accurately in one or two forums.
Now many people will see this crap of a thread and form a biasedness around Iron Addicts, when in fact the owner himself is an extremely intelligent person regarding the art. Many of our members are also members there, and vice versa.
BB.com is a joke compared to IA because of the misleading information/trolls/differing goals of people. You go to IA to gain muscle or strength in the best fashion possible. Here, you will find beginners and intermediates a like wasting their time on stupid 3, 4, 5 day splits (like myself) when we could be getting much benefit by doing on _______. (rippetoes, 5x5, simple power based routine, etc)
We parrot much more useless info.
