Has anyone seen this new BR from EA? A Titanfall style BR, Shroud and all of them are currently playing it on Stream and this is the first I've heard of it.
Jackfrags just released a gameplay video with his impressions.

Looks like that with F2P and graphics they want as many people as possible to have access to it.
Played some more last night with a full squad of friends. It was fun. It isn't a game I see playing fulltime, but something to play casually. Full f2p with microtransactions only being cosmetic, so can be as casual as I like.

It's fun as ****. Everyone is hating itt, but it's free... It's from the Titan fall devs... And while it wasn't very popular tf2 was a fun as **** shooter.
Played all night last night and had a blast. Its only 3v3 at the moment but I'm sure they'll add solos and duos.
All the loot boxes are cosmetic... Why do people complain about this... Don't like it don't buy... The game is freeSometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

Played it last night. Was astounded that it ran so well even though the first I've heard of it was yesterday. The graphics looked stellar.
The game has characters with abilities which creates more of a skill gap between squads. My friends and I won our first match on our 3rd game played with 11 kills. Will def play again.- Miami Heat - Memphis Grizzlies -

It seems polished, character locked before paywall + pushing the loot box just not my thing especially with the class system in place even if its balanced. The verticality/mobility doesn't appeal to me either. Got killed a couple times which just reminded me of CoD BLOPS where someone just leaps off a wall behind you before you even see them.
It's fine but I guess I'm pretty happy with the standard/realistic BR like Ring of Elysium - a few mobility packs and non-tiered (white/blue/purple rarity) weapons, its easy to know what weapons you like and get to fighting. I'm sure if I played a bunch I could get to that point but almost burned out on BR's at this rate.

Calling ROE sluggish is basically just saying you prefer a more arcade style of game, not everyone wants to go running at hyper speed, kangaroo jumping and flying through their BR game. Having a more simulation style of movement doesn't make a game bad because it's not your thing, many prefer it.

"Respawn producer Drew McCoy told Eurogamer that Titanfall 3 wasn't happening in a blunt manner.":
The world thinks we're making Titanfall 3 and we're not — this is what we're making. To try and convince a skeptical audience for months with trailers and hands-on articles, we're just like, 'Let the game speak for itself' — it's the most powerful antidote to potential problems. We're doing a free-to-play game, with essentially lootboxes, after we were bought by EA, and it's not Titanfall 3. It's the perfect recipe for a marketing plan to go awry, so why have that — let's just ship the game and let players play.

But ROE isnt a simulation style game (see bikes, hang gliders, etc) it's just not very responsive control wise. Had you been talking about say PUBG as a simulation style game you'd maybe have a little more ground to stand on. ROE was a game caught somewhere in the middle with good ideas, lack of resources, and poor implementation. What we ended up with was a BR with IMO one of the better "collapse" features and piss poor character control, responsiveness and gameplay. Calling it sluggish isnt saying you prefer an arcade style shooter, its pointing out that currently the game performs well below standards in today's gaming market from a responsiveness and gameplay standpoint.
