I was born and raised into the LDS (mormon) faith, and only in this last year have I officially denounced it.

Same here man I grew up in a Mormon family, strong brainwashing. I don't know how people can follow a certain religion simply because their parents do.

i gained some logical deduction skills and realized I had been lied to. There are alot of conflicting teachings.

fellow mormon brah here, was raised by parents into the church. it's a nice religion they teach you to be a good person, and teach good morals. but the foundation which it's built on IE; the book of mormon, is all made up lies i have come to believe. i haven't officially denounced the religion as in i havent left the church, im just inactive, but i plan to in the future, im more agnostic now
