Just picked this up and absolutely loving it.
Everything here is top notch, combat, graphics, platforming, the progression and the metroidvania style level design.
Definitely a win here from Ubisoft. Anyone else played it?

It's so far a solid as fuk metroidvania with some pretty joocy platforming and combat, but honestly this game feels like the darks souls of metroidvanias. It's so fukkin hard holy chit. I've had to turn on the accessbility settings to the extreme and some of the platforming is fukkin retarded.
Maybe there's a higher skill level involved, but it just feels so incredibly clunky imo. Games like Guacamelee and esp .... esp ORI felt absolutely sublime with the metroidavania mechanics and combat, and I never felt like I had to turn down the difficulty. I feel like this game is actively fighting against me at times. I've been sussing out this one platforming section on youtube since I'm having getting past it and it legit feels fukkin stupid.
That said, this is the most gameplayey gameplay game Ubisoft has released since ages, so I'm not both not shocked and shocked that people aren't talking about this game because the real gamers/usual crew would rather just bitch and whine about ubisoft games over actually playing them.
