    1st time keto-er total cals?

    I'm a little confused on my total cals for the day. One post I read said 10xbodyweight another said 15xbw - 500?

    For me that would either be 2550 or 3325. wtf? Big difference there. And then I see daily carbs at 50g per day and then also 5% of total cals per day?

    ANy input would be appreciated.

    5% works after you've been on for awhile , under 20g for induction 1st 2 weeks , under 30g assuming you have plenty of veggies ( the right veggies ) thereafter ..
    15gxBW is a good starting point with fats being at 70% - after that lower

    If you know your bodyfat, I'd go with 14 cals per pound of lean mass. That should give you 1g of protein per pound LBM and the rest should fall into place nicely.
    65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs = keto.
