I just looked at it and it lets you make trades which was how I wondered people would pay using Crypto. This way you can actually confirm payment before sending someone something. Looks pretty good, might by some of their coins. I’m willing to trade my ETH for another asset with someone here

lukso up almost 2x since i bought in 4 days ago. what's the hype about? i see no vidoes about lukso
i see lukso as a project that will attract a lot of women users to blockchain technology, and we all know women buy more than men. They already have projects and partnerships with huge luxury brands like chanel, nike, burbery, etc
its gonna be huge imo.

You did good, it's going to 0 soon. The pumps are slowly grinding up.
When the dump happens, it's going to flat out crash.
I don't disagree with opinions like BDSM in the long run, but I disagree when he tells a guy "sell your AVA when it recovers a bit".
I'd say sell your AVA yes, but when it pumps really hard and breaks ATH.

Ada price target $1.85. hoping we go past $2.00 by morning
edit Just sold all my ADA for a little more than one bitcoin might regret this in the short term (made 23k in one day on ADA have a feeling a correction will be imminent either tomorrow or sunday). In December I had 22k and was all in on Xrp and bitcoin was 17k I thought about switching into Bitcoin at the time but this was before the SEC came in and raped Xrp. I have regretted that decision for weeks now. Going to keep this 1 bitcoin for 12-20 years. Weight of the world lifted off my shoulders now.Last edited by Gorillajewshead; 02-27-2021 at 02:12 AM.

Are you guys really bearish on ADA? Brah it could still do a 5x and be under ETH.
Imagine when people actually start building on it, and don't need to handicap their smart contracts to make them as dumb as possible because of gas fees.Broke both legs and ankles crew.

XLM pumping

If I can ask what is probably a stupid question to the pro traders ITT. Say I am eyeing an asset that I think will pump if it breaks a certain price point above where it's currently trading. Is there an order type you can place that will only fill once that asset hits a specified higher price?

I lurked crypto misc in 2017, and I agree the sell-off was brutal. However, I think it's too simplistic to apply the blanket logic of "X has gone up too much, therefore it's going to tank hard." E.g. Using your example of DOT, the 1 Month chart shows it's in an extremely strong uptrend with no end in sight.
Of course, I don't think it's a good idea to buy right now while it's at ATH in satoshi price. But in the bigger picture, if investors and developers adopt it as their platform of choice, it will only continue to increase exponentially in value.
ETH is the perfect example of what I mean (though personally I'm not a fan of it). If you'd asked any miscer in 2017 whether ETH or NEO was a better investment, I'm sure they would have said NEO for reasons like "NEO has a smaller market cap, more growth potential, ETH is too high at $300, etc." But in hindsight, they would be dead wrong because NEO completely failed to attract sufficient technical talent and thus never truly "mooned" or gained any real adoption.
ETH, for all its scalability issues, at least achieved network effects amongst developers and thus has smashed its ATH price as more and more people use its network. Just my 2 cents.
TL;DR - the price or market cap of any crypto today is largely irrelevant in the context of long-term holding/investing. All that matters is selecting the coin/s which will most likely be the dominant network in 5-10 years. Right now BTC is basically the only one that's a sure bet.
If you're a day trader chasing pump and dumps though that's a different story altogether lolLast edited by nocoiner; 02-27-2021 at 05:45 AM.

FOMO is an emotional action around the "fear of missing out". I simply go where the opportunities are, just like FTM. I just got too greedy and didn't lock in my 30% gainz because i wanted 40%
Set stop loss @ 1.35 if it hits it, i loss 5%. If it doesn't i take profits at 20% gains. With pre-determined entries and exits, one saves themselves the "what if i had done X" thoughts. Outside the excessive holding of stale moving projects (BAT, XRP), this is the only way to not get rekt in crypto. Get in, make your money, get out, then exploit the next token.
EDIT: And that's precisely what just happened, ADA just tanked down to 1.32 and shook me out of 5%. Live to fight another day without watching my portfolio steadily crash emotionally clinging to the hope that it bounces back up. Win some, lose some. Back to me waiting for the BTC dip lol
You're thinking of a buy-limit order. Most exchanges have them but i only know how it looks on binance. Trade Tab > Advanced > Place Order window on the far right > BUY > Stop Limit > STOP PRICE (Set this for the trigger you want to set) > LIMIT (Set this to the price you want to pay when the Stop Price trigger goes off.Last edited by W1LLW; 02-27-2021 at 06:02 AM.

Not sure why so many people ITT seem short-term bearish on corn either. Obviously anything could happen and no one knows... But we've quadruple bottomed at 45k, I highly doubt we're going significantly below that level again. I just don't see whales voluntarily dumping their coins cheap and letting a tonne of buyers re-enter.

Its market cap would be greater than ETHs current cap if it was to 5x from here. Not saying its impossible, but i dont see it happening. $3 at most in 2021 for me. When push comes to shove i can only see ETH coming out on top long term. Will be interesting in the meantime to see what happens with projects moving to BSC from ETH and likely ADA later down the line.

I agree. People already missed the boat on ADA for those Moon homeruns, only single and double base hits from here in my opinion. If you had dumped 50,000 in ADA in December, they'd be sitting on 490,000 for the coveted (nearly) 10 bagger.
Seems we're going to be stuck in sideways trading limbo for awhile. Going to play the boring game of casting low limit entries and hope they fill. $221 for BNB, 0.40 for FTM, 1.60 for GRTDCA'ing FXS since Sept2022

Fees on Coinbase pro vs. Kraken are broadly the same. I think Kraken is a little more generous.
These institutions don't use the normal pleb web interface. They call up the Coinbase custody desk and tell them to buy XXX USD in Bitcoin for them.
This is correct.
What you want is a stop order. Stop-buy will only buy once the price goes up to a specified price.

Felt this. Trading alts is fun but I'm pretty close to putting everything into bitcoin and hodling. I'm less and less interested in constantly checking the charts and spending hours researching projects when the reality is no one has a clue.
Also, what are your guys thoughts on the stimulus checks and crypto outlook? That's a lot of money being handed to people who have been hearing about crypto from the sidelines this year."So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. . . . Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place." -Tecumseh

I am watching a YouTube video that featured a tweet from lowstrife. Is this misc lowstrife? Damn you famous.
I missed this response, sorry, and thank you.
You you have a kucoin account to see if it's possible on there? I don't see it.
What are income guidelines for these new stimulus checks? It's not like everyone is just getting free money. Sure some of it will find it's way to investments but I am sure most of it is going to people who need it for survival. Don't think you got the last one if you make over 100k as an individual or over 150k filing jointly.Last edited by mgftp; 02-27-2021 at 07:53 AM.

The new income ceiling is $75,000 and $150,000 + $1,400 per dependent. Coinbase reported that after the delivery of the last round, $1200 transactions rose by 200%, and you were hearing about crypto a lot less at that point. Not that it's all that significant, but it's something to think about.
