I'm a beginner, and I want to gain mass. I understand that I need a caloric surplus to grow. However, could I conceivably lose fat, while growing muscle, by switching to a keto diet? Glycogen is necessary for muscle recover and growth, but the body can turn fat to glycogen via glucogensis, am I correct? A protien diet, where my body is burning fat as fuel... could this be the magic pill?
