Raw meat diet.

With raw meat there are enzymes that take care of the mouth and teeth.

There are ways to handle the cat so it allows you to brush its teeth thou. YouTube is your friend. For serious problems vet can do a cleaning.

Did all of the above when I had a cat a long time ago. She lived a very very long time.
