I run XC, any recommendations on a pre-workout for before practice that would last me through the whole thing, about 2 hours.

a guy on here named Dtrulez is a long distance runner preparing for a Marathon, and I told him about QUake 10.0. People rave about the long focus effect that it brings and he loves the product. I will try and direct him to this thread to help you out since he is in the same boat.

Right here
Im training for a marathon and I go to Quake pre runs. This stuff is great for energy, focus, and endurance. The stuff also hits you within 30 minutes. Seriously, running is a mental game as well as a physical game and this stuff will have you so focused. When you take Quake it tells your brain and body you got a job to do and you will do it.Instagram: instagram.com/zackfeeney

I use to be a mid distance runner (800m - 3 miles races) back in Highschool like 3 years ago. I didnt take any pre workout supps at all. Just hydrate youself throughout the day, consume carbs for long term engery. Usually my track friends and I would eat fruit, apple, banana, pear, like 30 mins to and hour prior to running. Getting good at running all depends on hard work and dedication.

in regards to Assault, yes it should help your endurance. Ive done a few long workouts on it and never felt tired (1.5-2hrs). and it shouldnt upset your stomach. I havent really run on Assault specifically but did take BPI's 1MR before a PRT and it never upset my stomach. So i would think you'd be fine running on Assault
