I have these really bad habits and its affecting my gains, the worst thing is I KNOW they're bad for me, yet I still do them - which makes me feel like egotistical retard.. here is a list:
-weighing myself every week or twice a week (it discourages me by not putting on weight even tho there is no time for gains, realistically I should weigh myself every 2-3 weeks)
-doing extra sets on workouts (doing 14-15 sets per muscle rather than 10-12 when i'm feeling strong)
-sacrificing form so i can lift more even tho it would be better to stick to strict form
-training muscles twice a week when I feel my body responds better to once a week
all these things dont even require extra work, some require less work yet I still feel the need to do them.. I guess this is what makes me bad at bulking and bodybuilding in general, stupid ego.

You just gotta keep telling yourself that these things will not help in any way. What good is a big ego when you have the body of a 12 year old...
Admittedly nearly everyone occasionally goes just a little too heavy, just to see if they can do it. I rarely do it, but occasionally the ego takes over and i have a crack at that heavier weight. Just don't do it every workout, lol.

look guys..marijuana doesn't kill brain cells.. it impairs your short-term memory while under the influence.. marijuana actually INCREASES your alpha waves and blood flow, and endocannibinoids are PRODUCED by your brain AND skin on a daily level..
lets not turn this into another drug thread tho..these go nowhere, its usually just smokers vs anti-smokers, and lots of propaganda from both parties thrown across the table
