I want the Nuggets to obliterate them. Nothing better than exposing the phony Clippers, and those two fake "superstars" in Kawhi and PG.. I've been watching the NBA long enough to already know the outcome.
I will gladly take a neg train with dignity if I'm wrong. Will be worth it.

The Clippers still have an amazing squad but they are just a little bit unbalanced when they encounter a big man who can actually play. They have no answer for Jokic. They can guard those wings but Jokic is from another planet. Theye playoffs are great so far. Lakers look like slight favorites given the circumstances but they are going to have their hands full in the WCF and the finals for sure, none of these series are set in stone.

Wut?
Friendly reminder that Nikola Jokic was tied with Lebron for 2nd most triple doubles, is averaging 26 pts per game in the playoffs for his career, and he reached 600 pts, 300 rebounds, and 150 assists in fewer games than anyone in history. Seems like some top end offensive talent to me.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

You need to learn how to parse through posts. The first statement is about the Lakers. The remaining four teams are being compared relatively to the Lakers. Relative to the Lakers:
1. Clippers have noticeably worse coaching and team defense (Doc Rivers refusing to make adjustments, multiple huge leads blown to the Mavs/Nuggets...while the Lakers have been putting their feet on the necks of the Blazers/Rockets when they get up big)
2. Nuggets have noticeably worse team defense and top-end offensive talent (never were a great defensive team, especially with MPJ on the floor, and we already established that no duo on their roster can match LeBron + AD)
3. Heat/Celtics have noticeably worse top-end offensive talent (Adebayo + Butler, Tatum + Brown are great but they're not LeBron + AD)
This isn't a knock against the other four teams in their own right, but just showing that the Lakers have the best balance of all three things. All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

The narrative is too strong for the Clippers to lose. I can't get excited for the game. I hate Doc "cry me a" Rivers on every aspect. Fat, ugly, balding, phony, overrated, cocky/arrogant. No matter which way the game goes, Clippers will edge out... Early big lead for Nuggets is a disaster for a comeback.. Early big lead for Clippers, refs will kill any momentum for the Nuggets on a comeback... Even if we see a barrage of threes from the Nuggets it won't be enough... I feel a 50 pt game for Murray and a 30 pt game for Jokic brewing all for an L.
At the same time, I want no excuses. I want LeBron/Ad and co to dick down Kawhi and the thug Clippers. The Kawhi being the "best player" notion is bogus. He's the best ROLE player in the NBA.
Please neg me into oblivion if Nuggets win.

Am I supposed to be impressed by that? Cherry picked advanced stats which carry little substance while playing on a Dynasty Spurs team as a role player? You sound like Skip Bayless with those meaningless stats. Last year was luck on nearly every level and a total disservice to that Raptors squad, including coaching. There are multiple team top scorers who are considered role players and not superstars. I can light you up with all sorts of Harden stats, but I won't because Harden is trash. Kawhi puts up the most quiet stats possible, because that's what he is. Quiet. Among active playoff players he takes the most shots and plays the most minutes. Lebron still puts up a higher 3p%, 2p%, and FG%. He can't make LeBron plays and doesn't belong in the same breath compared to a TRUE superstar.
Wake me up when he gets an MVP (he never will because he sleeps through half the season because he's SOFT) or actually carries weight behind him in the Finals. He did not carry the Raptors last year, that entire team balled out to a very high standard. I've watched AD and LeBron both stop Giannis who choked against the heat. At this point, old man Lebron and injured KD> Kawhi. One could argue for other players > Kawhi as well. The only reason he went to the Clippers was to plant his brand. Got cucked by Nike.

A law school professor once told me if people aren’t understanding the point you’re trying to make it’s probably your fault.
You said the Nuggets were lacking in high end offensive talent but they’re demonstrably not, even in comparison to the Lakers.
They probably can’t consistently score enough to win a series because they don’t (on paper) appear to have the players to stop the best Lakers players.
Think of it this way, if in an alternate universe Leonard went to the Nuggets, he’s a better offensive player than Will Barton or MPJ but would the Nuggets be averaging 20 more pts a game. They’d score a little bit more because of his efficiency but Jokic’s scoring would probably dip a little bit while his assists went up. There’s only so many possessions in a game.
However, the Nuggets defense would drastically improve to the point that I think they’d be favorites against the Lakers.
Now imagine they instead added just an offensive specialist like Devin Booker. He could heat up and score 60 and win a game by himself for them maybe, so they’d be a better offense but would you favor them over the Lakers because of his offensive talent? No, because they’d still have defensive issues.
The Nuggets can and will get a little better on offense but defense is the issue for them, they’re not lacking high end offensive talent.
