Force the perspective they are experiencing an emergency like a heart attack or diabetic issue.
This can save valuable minutes instead of you trying to inflict street justice.
The end result is the same. Get them to stop.
Just don’t frame the situation in the cops mind when you call them. You don’t know if they are drunk. So don’t say that. The cops show up “knowing” this person is drunk, EMS response is significantly delayed and the cops could think they are faking to get out of a DUI.
If you observe erratic behavior and want to report it, report the facts. Not your made up conclusion about the facts. If it is because they are drunk, that will be discovered.
And if you see someone you think needs help, don’t assume others will help. Force the understanding they will not.

The only time I called the cops on someone was some drunk kuunt holding a beer bottle with it hanging out the window and swerving all over and into my lane. He almost side swiped me but I moved over just in time. It was too brazen not to try and get this azzhole off the street before he killed someone

Do you think that professional law enforcement and their dispatchers don't received calls/reports of drunk drivers regularly? You think they probably take reporting party's reports with a grain of salt and understand they aren't trained?
We need a class from Ironmanlet on how to make reports to police for crimes or safety? So call 911 and report a medical emergency since you can diagnose someone's medical condition from behind the wheel of your car.
If someone can't control their vehicle on the road, 99% chance it's because they are drunk/high/or falling asleep.
When someone is stealing your catalytic inverter, breaking into your home, forcefully inserting themselves into you, force the perspective. Force the perspective that maybe they thought that catalytic converter was community propery because the car wasn't parked in a garage. Force the perspective that maybe the person is experiencing housing challenges or your house has a roof, a door, and similar paint so they thought it was their house and their lock is broken. Force the perspective that perhaps you were just playing hard to get when they were trying to get inside you because if they can't handle you at your worst then they don't deserve you at your best.6'5, 240lbs.

There was one time on the freeway there was this new F250 with fancy wheels swerving in the fast lane. I was in the next lane hanging back as he kept running into the wall. Whole freeway was going slow watching it. Finally guy stopped and at some point the son was called.
The son didn't ask about his dad, just wanted to know how the truck was doing. A couple of months later I watched another one driving down the road taking out a mailbox.
Both were not drunk.*MFC*
