That is not in dispute either, Soviet doctrine was 15 years behind the times and 300 000+ troops were taken captive and marched to the camps or simply shot multiple times. I'm not talking about Stalin/Zhukov's early ineffectiveness, I'm talking about how many German Army and especially SS were so indoctrinated and considered all Soviet and Slavic peoples to be sub human that you did not show them affection. Many, MANY did not believe this but did not show compassion for fear of their own safety. Capturing that on camera was even more rare and I have a feeling was probably a propaganda photo sent to groups like the Red Cross to show "Hey we're invading Russia but taking care of people we capture!"
They did the same thing when the Red Cross was given a "Tour" of concentration camps in Germany during the war showing how prisoners were in great health and having a blast when we all know the reality

Yes, and im not gonna argue that there were war crimes from the "nazis" or the wehrmacht on the eastern front, but hitlers hate from Bolsheviks and jews most likely came from the german revolution when he witnessed the Bolsheviks acting out their little "revolution" and most of the Bolsheviks "leaders" were jews. And im just ranting becuase i think hitlers germany have gotten to much of a bad name than they deserve. But im not gonna start rambling on about what i believe and such, dont want to get banned, ya know. But great discussion. But now Let's keep going with the pictures

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
