Dymatize ISO 100 Birthday Cake Review
Profile: 10/10
As a whey isolate, ISO 100 has 25g of protein per scoop with only 1g carbs and less than 1g of fat. You can't ask for much better macros than that
Taste: 9/10
I'm not much of a protein shake drinker, but I did have the Bday cake flavor in two shakes just to try it out. The taste is very sweet and really similar to a vanilla frosting. Just mixing it with water was pretty tasty, but I blended one up with almond milk and ice and it was awesome!
As I said, I don't usually drink many protein shakes, so I tried bday cake ISO in proats, sludge (Greek yogurt + protein powder), and some baked goods. I felt like getting creative for Dymatize for sending me such an awesome prize so I tried quite a few different things. Overall, it was decent in proats and amazing in sludge. The taste was great in almost all of the things I baked, but the only downside, it seemed to dry everything out way more than other powders I've baked with. I think this could be b/c I've generally used PES Select which is a blend rather than this isolate. I tried tweaking some things but still haven't gotten everything perfect.
Thank you to Dymatize for letting me try ISO-100. Overall I have to say the birthday cake flavor is a really solid choice. Here's some food porn
