Welcome to the show.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Dude, it's custom, it takes longer. You need to lay off, I'll get it done as soon as I can. I haven't taken one penny from you so I really have no obligation. Having said that, I have every intention of getting it done but yours requires lathe work and it wasen't available this weekend. It's next on my list.

Damn, went to clear the snow and this.
I am not questioning your intent or commitment by asking twice if I am not wrong. I am in no rush in reality. But this new equipment bug I think is getting better of me. Comments to that effect are being made at the home front as well ( Road trips to get equipment + UPS deliveries +trying to make my own stuff are not helping the cause). Anyway, everything is 2 way street. I think I probably not check this section of the forum for a while or figure out something...

I think these are sweet looking
They are very similar to mine...
If you're on the fence about adding a monkey bar to your rack... Not only do porches free up more room inside the rack, they allow for suspended band work to be done outside of the rack, they allow more suspension spotting options and not to mention they add that dayum factor to a rack
More porch pron

This is why I've spent my money on calibrated plates & have a hell of a time justifying non-calibrated anymore. If all plates are this heavy, 405 is now 420. For the stronger guys out there & good deadlifters, 585 is now 604 lb. I know that's an extreme, but that's really irritating.
For those saying weight is weight, yeah, 405 is not 420.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59
Lifts no one cares about:
SQ: 619x1 (suit bottoms, no belt) / 507x1 (raw, no belt)
BP: 392x1 (pause bench, raw)
DL: 500x1 (suit bottoms, no belt)

Agreed! It is very annoying... I don't even count the lbs above each 45.
The reason I weighed them was because while I was squatting I always felt as though the bar was unbalanced or heavier on one side... and sure enough there was anywhere from 6+ lb difference on one side and well over 10 additional lbs on the bar.

Cwcmac & Synth
I bought these from a Fitness store that aquired them from Boise State University... at least that's where I think they got them.
I doubt a university is going to get factory rejects lol so this leads me to believe that this is fairly common for this style of plate.
Then I also wondered maybe... just maybe (lol) that I've got some prototype plates with micro loading built right in.
