Best team also checking in. We have a very active local Instinct ******** group, so we are super organized and on top of things, even though we are greatly outnumbered. We hold about 50% of the gyms in the area. We communicate where the open spots are, best places to drop Blisseys, etc. We also leave certain preferred gyms alone for Valor and Mystic, and they respect our legacy gyms as well (for the most part). There's also a local all team FB group, where we discuss gym preferences, and stuff like that.

Everybody should have a local FB group, check for one, and if there's none, make one. It makes a huge difference!

We had one of our usual gyms get taken down yesterday. It was built back to level 10 in about 3 hours

Not yet. What i meant to say is that I've caught all of the Pokemon available to me.

Most people when they say they "completed their dex" (at least as far as PoGo) are referring to their regionally available dex.

I generally say I've completed my Gen 1 dex - but don't have Mr. Mime, Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, or any of the legendaries. Obviously that nomenclature will change if they ever rotate regionals and/or add the legendaries into the game.

I can't decide if this is cheating or not. I guess as long as you're physically going out in the real world and catching them it's fine....

don't have a problem with people using the scanners. When fastpokemap worked, I'd go check sometimes to make sure it was worth going places. Also helped with nest migrations to see what we got.

I feel like 2k eggs are absolutely useless. Since gen 2, I've probably hatched 25 nidorans and like 15 goldeen. Really getting annoying

I got a Squirtle and Bulbz with near perfect IVs from 2ks recently tho. It does really suck when you end up with something underwhelming like Geodude or something tho so I feel you.

I consider it cheating.

However it is undetectable unlike spoofing/botting. Considering they can't even stop those two things I decided might as will scan for mons. The people in my city have a scanner up downtown and catch multiple dragonites/Tyranitars a day. In the suburbs haven't seen either yet.

If someone is using it JUST as a tracker and not using that along with spoofing, I don't think I consider it cheating. As long as someone is making a physical effort and playing the game in the real world.

Only thing I really have a problem with is spoofers.

Game is acting super weird for me. Pidgeys and Meowth no higher than 220 CP are breaking out of great balls but Murkgrow around 650 CP goes down with one regular poke ball.

Yep, and there are a few new items.

- 10ks are more rare now

- New clothing options (much needed and hopefully they'll release more)

- New moves (don't transfer your old pokemon if they're good and have old movesets, certain movesets don't exist anymore)

- pokemons have genders now and some look different depending on gender

- Garados and Magikart have an alternate color pallet but it's super rare)

I had a ~100 CP Squirtle break out of a ultra ball today, yet was able to land a 968 CP Sneasel with a poke ball.

Got an email from PGO telling me they added a bunch of stuff so I downloaded after like 6 months off. I like the changes I have seen so far. Have they made any changes to the gyms/battling? I havent gotten a chance to check them out.

Today will be my first time in two weeks where I'm not going to a park or other area to play. Caught one or two mons while getting out of my car and hit a pokestop during lunch break just to continue my daily-streaks but I just don't have it in me to go out and play right now. Sadly, it's beautiful outside.
