Okay boy was I wrong about there having play in these new Rogue HG 2.0 collars.. once installed on a bar they are TIGHT. Once they are on a sleeve, there is no movement of the lever at all, so zero noise. They are nice, but very tight.. no quick one handed install like the old ones. It seems like there is no possible way for these to move once installed. New rubber inserts & tighter fit on bar pretty much guarantee no movement.
So what are these HG 2.0 collars great for? Crossfit, really. Which makes sense coming from Rogue. I may just go back to my standard Oso's for everyday powerlifting as they are not as tight to remove. These new HG 2.0 really seem made for high rep movements where you do tons of reps and don't have to get them on and off a bunch. They were cheap enough, so I'm glad I picked them up, but I doubt they will become my 'everyday' collars.

Ordered a pair!
Well, this'll be my first Rogue product.
I'm specifically buying these for drop sets / band & chain work, specifically on specialty bars w/ 1.9" diameter sleeves. I may also use these on my oly dumbbells for very heavy pressing.
Hope they live up to the hype. If they do, I'll order anywhere between and 3 more pairs.Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

I'm just busting chops. They actually are a great looking plates (as most of the stuff they put out).... And some may actually prefer the symmetry of being able to grab the holes at the 3 - 9 o'clock position as opposed to Ivankos.

Order for Round 2 of revolvers has been placed . Should be coming in next couple of weeks . We will see how these turn out.
As per 6 shooter plates, Damn, can't they come up with any other design. Same with the machined plates. Looks like standard brand plates.
for some reason Rogue name on these just does not sit right at least with me, like York or Ivanko. Pretty soon they might release DD plates too or Machined chrome plates.[M]===[6]▪ Mech6 Crew #35 ▪[M]===[6]

I love my Ivankos.. I love my Ivankos..
Seriously, I do like the 7 hole Ivanko revolver better, but Rogue's are probably better a little better quality.. and Rogue has better customer service. Even with the minor finish issues with my Ivankos, they are seriously fantastic to use for everyday lifting compared the comp bumpers I've been using for years. I'm kinda glad Ivanko has a little competition now.. maybe they'll start caring a little more.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30
