I'm really liking the Sage still. I wish it weren't so damn broad/tall in my pocket, but it's worth carrying for sure.

Just got my 470-1 about 10 minutes ago. The seller listed it as a "user" but I see no signs of usage
I hit it on the strop for about 15 swipes per side and it's laser sharp. It'll slice arm hair with one swipe, phone book paper, etc.
The assisted opening is lightning fast, too. Almost too much tension. Did I mention the weight? 2.2 ounces

new one, with a very very sweet coating. Asymmetrical grind is a bit weird to get used to but a very nice knife. I need some cash so I'll probably end up selling it, but its definitely one of my favorite small EDC knives I've had in the past year or two:

I like fast cars, nice watches, sharp knives, and good smells.

no new knives for me for awhile. Just bought a new tv for the house.
Valhalla, the Gayle Bradley is like a Sage on some Muscle Tech. I love the design of it except for no easy access to unlocking it. Bradley did that for a reason: during hard use he didn't want anything to unlock that blade. Some think Spyderco cheaps out with the carbon over G10 or whatever. I still think it looks great and the grip is exceptional. I picked up mine pretty cheap on Amazon ($131.13)rumpler of stiltskins

darkninja didn't you just get a tenacious, too?
I know you have a ZT but are you slowly becoming a Spydie fanboi? Don't you have a dragonfly as well?
edit: I always say "I'm done for a while" then a week later something catches my eye. Realistically the only one I kinda want now is the all black Spyderco Southard.
The only one I will buy without hesitation (if I can ever find it) is the Bradley Alias 2 with black blade and blue aluminum handle. These bastards are rare and almost never pop up on the secondary market.Last edited by sloop; 01-31-2015 at 04:42 PM.
