in on this crew, i care way more about the size of my arms and definition on my abs then i do about admiring some foreign country.
btw, i decided to just start doing decline. 4 sets of flat bench and 4 sets of decline bench seems like a better choice then 8 sets of flat bench

We got a badass in here guys...
Decline has been my preferred bench for a long time. Less stress on the shoulders I think and some argue it activates the chest better.
I like to use a pyramid rep scheme. Usually between 5-8 sets. Starting lighter and working to heavier weight in the 1-3 rep range.- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

Experiencing different cultures is a great way to gain perspective and broaden the mind. The IG version is not representative of that. Visiting third world countries changed mine forever.
Lying on your deathbed, only your experiences will matter, not your big arms and six pack.
Of course balance is key, but recognize narcissism for what it is. Lifting has many benefits though and I also believe a healthy body correlates with healthy mind.𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖈𝕶, 𝖓𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖇𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍

What’s up this Saturday?

yea i noticed it feels much better on my shoulders than flat does. probably has alot to do with rotator cuff injury ive been struggling with for the last 8 months though. ive heard it said its not necessary if youre doing flat bench, but on the other hand it seems intuitive that it has to work the chest and shoulders differently, so doing it along with flat and incline would be a good idea.
these kinds of things are really up to the individuals perception. ive been to foreign countries and thought it was cool, but not necessarily worth the amount of money it took to get there.
i do not think that being extremely dedicated to lifting is the same thing as narcissism though.Merica

Narcissism isn’t synonymous with arrogance. Narcissism is self adoration, usually due to a person over compensating for his/her insecurities. Becoming obsessed with lifting doesn’t mean someone is a narcissist, by itself. It’s the motivation behind the lifting that would label someone a narcissist. If you lift to appear superior to others, then that could be narcissistic. To me, it’s the motivation that matters.
Some of the experienced lifters on this site for example who put down others on here to make themselves feel better, they seem narcissistic.
