Hi fellows,

This is Goo. I reply here as I don't know who if anyone would be an appropriate contact. As you know, I wasn't doing well for some years. I inappropriately expressed my own personal problems and grudges here in a way that just drove people, including myself, crazier than they needed to become.

Time has past, and I have tried seriously to address my issues. I see a psychiatrist, and as it turns out I am bipolar it seems. Who would think, right? Lol

It actually explains a lot. Years of going untreated and acting out with crazy misplaced energy. Trying to medicate myself with booze and not even understanding why...

What a mess.

I have cleaned up. I was back earlier to say hello.. B and others I'm sure were positive it was me. I really hope you guys are doing well, respectively.

I hope you are doing well Dizzy. Reach out if you aren't.. maybe I can give you a hand.

I would like to come back and help others if I can.. as this is the place I personally came when I was really struggling.

I think I could help advocate a better lifestyle and it's many benefits. I went from 296 to 217...bounced atm to 225 but I think it goes in waves.

I'm a big advocate of walking. Walking will work.

I'm basically back to being a normal person. I don't give a **** about religion or politics.

I did come back to God. I think I am either a heretic Christian or some kind of terrible Hindu or Buddhist. I think it's ok.

I am just trying to make my way.

My oldest daughter does Judo with me.

Anyway, I understand if no...but I wanted to at least say hi. I am too old for BS. I'm serious about what I said.

No, but it's pretty amazing how quickly kids can pick up tumbling skills.

She ogoshied some kid in sparring...its like a hip throw, just yesterday at practice. I was like HELL YEAH.

There's a mean old sambist/judoka in the ufc hw division now named Aleksei Oleinik. He's the only guy in the ufc who's won a fight by ezekiel choke, which is pretty amazing to watch sans gi. And he'll drag a guy down and tap him with a scarf hold. It's great.

Love the Ezekiel. It just works for me...idk how good I would be no-gi with it.. but I do like it. I suck at everything, though...I'm nothing special. I mean, I can practice right but that's really my place.

I think I can be a cool sports dad. I'll get my kid into BJJ as well...there's a good school here but I can't make the class time for kids after work atm.

I liked judo first because...we can do it at the same time.

I was like naw man...things will be fine. I'm just really too old for that stuff now.

Idk hormones and age man lol. I'm a lot more interested now in actually getting in better shape and having a decent middle age than I am being a clown (although at times it was cringeworthy beyond belief...still funny...sometimes)

All of the philosophy stuff I am into has no answers. It's debatable whether you could possibly contribute to such conversations.

Just want to be social and healing, self and others I guess. Time to time you see guys so depressed and talking suicide...always wanted and want to say a kind word. Maybe nobody else will.

I also think walking for fat loss is a major winner. I think more people should give it a try, because they can actually do it and it will work.

Walking is no question a win


When I did my major cut 7 years ago I did the first 8 months waking - until I felt like it was okay for my knees to start running again.


When you have an extreme amount of fat loss it sets your mind right at a minimum.



Not only do you think about life while doing it, when you are done you aren’t going to go do the bad habits that created your situation to start with after putting after all that work.

I think I have a personality which can lead to OCD...and it can include addictive stuff like internet, TV, games, or substances. Phones. I'm really working on it, and for that reason don't want to participate in a drawn out political or religious discussion online anymore...

I just can't tell when it's time to stop. I'll keep going and going and it devolves, and I don't want to be like that. It is just a time killer, anyway. We are grown up and know our stances. They aren't going to easily change. Not that a conversation couldn't change you...but it won't be here if that were to happen.

I gotta show you guys my garage sometime...it's pretty cool. I should be in a lot better shape tbh, but I have definitely made progress. Normal athletic-like guy is my goal post, which is not unreasonable.

When my back was all jacked years ago I got into collecting and trading weight equipment on craigslist. Through a used dealer, I just got this interesting piece.

It's a leverage shoulder press, with rear delts and a bar for rows and shrugs. I'm psyched. I got that rogue bench rack, too. It's awesome. I really want to stay on track in my 40's. I'm looking forward to it.

I still want to lean out 20 more lbs, but I know I can do it now. Probably take all this year although I originally wanted to be done by September.

Sometimes things happen I guess and plans need to adjust. Have a great week guys.
