Thats what I was thinking also. Been doing farmers walks and plate pinches for grip and lulz. My fingers have gotten thick af from work. Amazing how the connective tissues and tendons grow over time.
Did a 2 minute single hand dead hang on a fat grip pullup bar this weekend. Was intense af

I feel for you bro..had to put down my childhood dog a few years back. She was 13 when it happened...
I went with her to the vet and held her while she was letting go. Cried for two days thinking about it. Still miss that dog to death. Theyre absolutely irreplaceable, but in time, youll meet another dogbro who will pick you up where you left off.

I actually prefer the feeling of an empty stomach compared to being full and laying around in my filth, lol. but I was the skinny kid in HS. like 140lbs at 6'0-6'1 until I started eating/lifting/playing sports.ACE CPT | StrongFirst SFG I | Student Physical Therapist

years from now, yes.
if I go on a 30lb bulk then I'd probably not even gain that much LBM. being in a smaller surplus will result in the same LBM growth and won't have to get fat in the process. (rationale of my 1-2 year bulks)
LBM=lean body mass
years of small surplus + consistent training = best scenario for natural growth IMHOLast edited by dwill094; 01-28-2016 at 09:44 AM.

01-28-2016, 09:36 AM #2157MFW cheeks are sunken in a bit and jawline is razor sharp. So I go to whole foods to get lunch from their bar and I catch this hnnngggg af/10 brunette chick with a phat ass eyeing me. I look at her and we just stare at each other for a few seconds. I look away and begin to put refried beans in my bowl. Unfortunately, the beans stuck on the bottom of the ladle plopped right on the counter and I looked like an idiot. What do I do? She's about to head towards the checkout lanes.

Please do.
Ye my avi is from when I was under 145. Put on a bit of LBM and mostly fat since then. This last several months has been one giant wheelspin for me really. Besides climbing. I'm climbing my hardest ever right now at +12 lbs. Started cutting this week for real too for a local bouldering comp coming up in March. I ain't gonna win LOL but it should be fun.
If you're training then maybe true (depending on your goals/focus). But not if you're testing your limits. Like, you'd never tell someone who did a deadlift max w/mixed grip that it defeated the purpose, even though it might be preferable to train double overhand.Goal: 160 lbs @ 6% BF

I don't know how long you've been lifting but as you know you'll gain faster in the first few years. So ya if you're lifting for several years you'll take a long time to do it but you can definitely get there.
Using Martin Berkhan’s forumla, you could be about 193 lbs @ 5 - 6 % totally shredded as a natural at that height. A more realistic 10% would put you well over 200 lbs.
