Opened a few old bottles tonight while I catch up on game of thrones. New glarus cherry stout (tasty, but almost no stout charteristics at all), a 2011 founders imperial stout (past its prime, but still pretty tasty...lots of dark fruit) and a few 2014 bottles...Bigfoot and backwoods bastard.

Ya, all hop extract is from supercritical CO2 daveman. A. SN used it in their new turd and tasted like shytty homebrew, granted, that's only one aspect of a beer. 2. my friend uses it and his tastes like shytty homebrew. D. PlinEY is rarely ever good
q. your homebrew is good, so I'll try it but still, curious to see how it goes.

apparently not, like i said earlier...
http://www.sierranevada.com/beer/yea...hop-hunter-ipa
Hop Hunter IPA harnesses the complex flavors of just-picked hops through an all-new method of steam distilling wet hops before they even leave the fields. This revolutionary technique captures and intensifies the natural flavors, creating a unique and intensely aromatic beer. Our custom process gathers pure hop oil which, when combined with traditional whole-cone hops in the brew kettle, makes for an incredible IPA experience.
from what i have heard from local farmers, SN actually brings out their own trailer to process the wet hops on site. Bob Jenkins from Gooding farms and I spoke last week at his field #8 where he grows El Dorado hops for SN's "hoppy lager" to be released this fall/winter.
/fleshyinducedfacepalm
must be the 2row
hoping to brew w/it soon. i'd like to use it with some azacca, amarillo, centennial & citra. some late additions of apollo/comet for danky, weed like edge
edit: here is a great article for anyone who wants to know more about the steam distillation process
