about $3800 for set including tires, mount/balance, rear sprocket was thrown in, also ordered new front sprocket for tx mile. but....

thought it'd be nice to have two full sets of wheels, so had to buy new rotors all around. then decided to go full floating brembo fronts, then brembo MC, matching clutch lever, reservoir, and well, while i have to break the lines, new black series monoblock front calipers. all in about $6k doing all work myself of course.

fukin battery has died in the ice (it was fine before, first winter with it)
contemplate staying out
contemplate building a make shift charger out of parts
fuk it im sleeping out
after 15min no fuk this i dont give up
get someone to help me push the bike down a hill (battery had enough charge to prime fuel injectors)
safe, im off home
bike acting funny on motorway (lumpy, hmm fueling issue from low battery, better keep revs up, its working)
get to roundabout revving bike like some hooligan so engine doesnt cut out
car beside me starts revving
light turns green
engine cuts out. car drives off probably pissing himself laughing
battery completely fuked, wont even power dash. push start impossible with no fuel.
push bike into a store car park
try to push start anyway
sorry babe no cardio. take a break to catch my breath
police driving past non stop
noticed dash starts to activate while im push starting
wonder if i can push the bike long enough to power up injectors and then start the bike
almost have heart attack trying
chain bike up, start walking home
walk past petrol station, see another biker filling up his r6.
start chatting explain predicament. dudes like cool story bye (some biker! didnt even offer me lift. didnt wanna ask cos its a rough area and i know lots of scumbags used to beg and hang out there. he looked a bit scared of me.)
carry on walking home freezing cold
jog for a bit fuking gas out
finally get to bus stop in dead residential street. some older dude was there. ask him if he knows if the bus goes past my road. he didnt know then he phones up some place and starts talking about "this is special constable bla bla please can you send a mark or unmarked car to xx because its already crawling with miscreants, weirdos, masons, etc in the area tonight. ive left the building and am on my way to the hospital. the code word for tonight is 6 pages i will report later"
i think to myself maybe hes just pretending because hes scared of how im dressed in black jeans, black leather jacket, black neck warmer over my face and black hoodie underneath with hood up, black gloves, black boots
he phones someone else and says the same exact message almost word for word. this time i can hear a female receptionist sounding voice on the other side.
**** my pants thinking im gonna lay down and rot in jail tonight
roll a cig
strike up conversation with him 'that was quite a message there' he starts rambling on about 3 murders tonight and how hes some ex cop and the towns going crazy.
then he starts talking about the huge coverups in the area with ****s, rapists, murder, etc.
i ask him about the masons (im suspecting at this point he was going to the mental hospital)
he talks about how theyve fuked up because of their greed and now all the money has to be paid back etc etc
tells me he cant tell me everything hes been told
light cig and instantly bus turns up
we get on and i ask him more questions and he talks about there are people he wishes werent born now etc
and about how hes putting all these people behind bars (lol)
my stop cool, wish him luck

WHat would be the best options for something my size, looking at WR450 or the KLR.

THe Hypermotard intests the hell out of me but i feel like im a bit tall for it, anyone got a decent suggestion. something im probably missing

Probably will depend a little bit. How far do you plan on traveling with it? Any long distance adventure trips? Is the wr450f street legal in canada? Here we have to convert them to street legal. I'm 6'4/6'5 and have owned a 2009 wr450f (carbed) 2012 wr450f (fuel injected) and have a 2015 ktm 500 exc now.

Hope your bike is there when you go back

Chained through wheel and frame with good chain to a thick metal support. Bike was there today drove in car and picked it up . took my portable jump starter left it connected for 10 min and it was ok. Then started dying on way home again.

Managed to ride it home all the way. Got a mate to drive me back to pick my car up.
Went and bought a good smart charger.
Got battery on charge now. It was on 10v so hopefully can recover.
Will check bike tomorrow though because poss rectifier may have gone or even alt. But i doubt it.

My other bike had a little volt meter on the dash which i recommend you guys get. They are on ebay for like 2 bucks. Woulda saved me a huge butt ache
